The Hawaiian state health official who personally reviewed Barack Obama's original birth certificate has affirmed again that the document is "real" and denounced "conspiracy theorists" in the so-called "birther" movement for continuing to spread bogus claims about the issue. ...Fukino said, she wanted to inspect the files — and did so, taking with her the state official in charge of vital records. She found the original birth record, properly numbered, half typed and half handwritten, and signed by the doctor who delivered Obama, located in the files. She then put out a public statement asserting to the document's validity. She later put out another public statement in July 2009 — after reviewing the original birth record a second time.

Four major theories exist on the Hawaiian birth announcements:
1) They were generated because the birth really occurred in Hawaii, whether in a hospital or otherwise, and was reported to the Hawaiian Department of Health (HDOH), which in turn relayed the information to the two papers, which apparently shared their classified listings. However, as you are already aware, even if this theory is true, it does not eliminate the interest in 1) the potentially shocking content of the birth certificate, or 2) the difficulty of Obama’s parentage and allegations that he made later claims of foreign citizenship for scholarship money, both of which would put him in a real pickle regarding Natural Born Citizenship status.
2) They were generated because the birth occurred outside of Hawaii but was reported as having occurred in Hawaii. An affidavit was presented, probably by Grandma Dunham, affirming the false fact, which was believed by the HDOH, resulting in a certification of live birth being generated, and the newspaper announcements followed automatically. This theory is disputed by some on questions of how the above process actually worked during the period in question. However, it has the advantage that no sophisticated conspiracy is required. Only the filing of a single false affidavit, which is definitely within the realm of the possible.
3) They never happened. If true original copies of the 1961 papers could be found, they would not show birth announcements for Obama. The few extant copies on microfilm, both the actual microfilm and the widely disseminated internet copies, do show some interesting characteristics that, when taken together, suggest a possibility of forgery.
There are numerous subvariants of these theories, but I think this covers the big ones.
An extra wrinkle to remember is that the address provided in the birth announcements was, according to public records and witness testimony, never lived in by the Obama family, but was instead occupied by the Lefforge family during the period in question. This supports theories 2 and 3, but not 1.
BTW, there is one thing to disabuse yourself of from the outset, if you are serious about trying to understand this controversy. There is often raised a red herring objection that such fraud as is being suggested is impossible because no one in 1961 could possibly anticipate Obama’s presidential aspirations. It is a red herring because there was sufficient motivation for identity fraud in 1961 without any reference to such obscure future possibilities. A mulatto child without clear US citizenship papers would be at a significant disadvantage should the family ever move to the mainland and attempt to provide a normal future for the child in a dominantly white culture. In those days as now, US citizenship was considered a treasure worthy of many a lie. Therefore, no long-distance fortune-telling was required to motivate the Dunhams to commit fraud on the HDOH on behalf of little Barry.
We were demonstrably lied to about where the online birth announcement images came from. “Koa” and a Prius Chat poster claimed to go personally to the Hawaii State Library and make copies of the Star-Bulletin announcements from the microfilm there. But their images were identical to each other and to the image that somebody at the Honolulu Advertiser office had given whatreallyhappened.com. And the images could not have come from the Hawaii State Library unless scratches disappeared from the microfilms over time.
There’s much, much more that could be said and hopefully eventually will be said, but the announcements are very, very suspect, to say the least.
And the same Fukino who is making these announcements illegally hid the Dept of Health Administrative Rules until a year after the election, when public outrage (and probably some butt-kicking from Lt Gov Duke Aiona as well) forced her to post them on the HDOH website as required by law. It is in those rules that we see that Obama’s non-certified COLB is supposed to be discloseable to anybody who asks for it. And it reveals that a COLB is actually an abbreviated birth certificate, which is significant because any birth certificate they print has to include notes of amendments made. The HDOH indirectly confirmed that Obama’s BC was amended in 2006, and if his COLB was printed out on June 6, 2007 as claimed, then it would have to have note of the 2006 amendment. IOW, the HDOH has indirectly confirmed that the Factcheck COLB is a forgery. And they’ve confirmed it in another way also - by revealing that the BC# and “date filed” on the Factcheck COLB are incompatible with each other and with the Nordyke BC’s. Either the BC#, date filed, or both have been altered on the Factcheck COLB.
Every government office that supposedly has any records for Obama has either created a forgery on Obama’s behalf or covered up for somebody else tampering with the records.
The HDOH is covering for what they have indirectly confirmed in 2 ways as a forged COLB.
The Selective Service Administration actually forged a draft registration for Obama - with the automatic date stamp for its creation date saying ‘08 rather than ‘80 as they tried to pass it off as.
The Social Security Number verification site has acknowledged that the SSN Obama used on his last tax return was never issued to Barack Hussein Obama II.
Somebody at the Passport Office disabled the security protocols at specifically the right time - 3 different times - so that Obama’s passport file could be illegally accessed, about a month apart each time, with the last breach occurring shortly after the Factcheck photos of the COLB were taken (according to exif data on the photos). And according to his final report, the Dept of State inspector general never even looked at whether Obama’s records were actually altered, though someone close to an internal investigation said that the purpose of the breaches was to sanitize Obama’s passport file. Obama would have been issued a diplomatic passport when he became a Senator, regardless of whether he had a US birth certificate or not.
Whether we like it or not, each of these points is established by actual evidence. If it’s a conspiracy, it is a substantiated conspiracy. Just because it’s a conspiracy doesn’t mean it’s not true. What matters is the evidence. And that’s what everybody in all these agencies and in the media have been trying to steer the conversation away from. The reason this issue doesn’t die is because there is real evidence of law-breaking and a cover-up.
The response from people like Fukino and the HI AG’s spokesperson is more lies - for instance, claiming that no law authorizes photocopies of long-forms to be disclosed, even though that’s patently false and the fact that copies of long-forms being released is proven by video of a woman ordering her long-form at the HDOH office and being told she’d get it in 2 weeks and Micki Booth posting her son’s long-form, which was released less than a month ago. Interesting. Every other article I’ve seen says the Birth Certificates are stored in a different building, at the State Archives, and that someone else is in change of them. This article says she took the man in charge of the archives with her, and she found the document, bound in a book, in a file cabinet at the Health Department.
Note that the article states, “The document was distributed to the Obama campaign in 2007 after Obama, at the request of a campaign official, personally signed a Hawaii birth certificate request form downloaded on the Internet, according to a former campaign official who asked for anonymity. (Obama was “testy” when asked to sign the form but did so anyway to put the issue to rest, the former campaign official said. The White House has dismissed all questions about the president’s birth as “fictional nonsense.”)” So this is not Funkino, but, an un-named source, employed by Obama’s campaign, claiming how the document was obtained.
It is also worth noting “The certification that the campaign received back —which shows that Obama was born in Honolulu at 7:24 p.m. on Aug. 4, 1961 — was based on the content of the original document in state files, Fukino said.”
So does this mean that the names of the parents, and any other information on the COLB NOT come from the original document?
She is no longer a State official. Anything she said then or now, without proof is worthless.
It would be interesting if they would attempt to obtain certified copies of their LFBC's now in 2011. Certified copies of the original paperwork, that is, not of the database query result. The question would be, is the original available on request, for an additional fee, or not at all (without a court order)?
Either Fukino is right, in which case Hawaii needs to change its law, or she's wrong.
We all have original birth certificates. Why doesn’t Obama have one? And why have only Democrat officials in HI seen it? And why was a fake one posted online when he was running for President? More people saw the Bethlehem star proclaiming Jesus birth than have seen BO’s original certificate.
Just to satisfy my curiosity, I did an Intelius search of just the last name “Dunham” in Hawaii. Record #82 shows a “Madelyn Lee Payne Dunham, age 88.” Stanley A. Dunham and Stanley Ann Dunham are listed as relatives, along with a Marcus Dunham - does anyone have any idea who this is?
Guess what? Searching for that name in Hawaii yields 0 results. Hmmmmmm...so, I did a nationwide search:
And found a supposedly 36 year old Marcus Dunham (Record #9) in Kansas City, MO related to a Stanley Ann Dunham and a Madelyn Lee Dunham, along with other names I don’t recognize.
I don’t believe Intelius lists relatives unless you’ve lived with them, which means that a Marcus Dunham lived with grandpa and grandma at some point.
Is his age and other names a result of fraud?

This is complete horse manure. I have two children born in the very same hospital where Obama was allegedly born, at around the same era (early 1960’s).
They have REAL birth certificates, issued by the State of Hawaii Department of Health.
I call them on this outrageous lie.
In fact until they had to start covering their sad asses for Obama, the Department of Hawaiian Affairs would not accept this bogus “short form” “Certification of Live Birth” as proof of Hawaiian ancestry. They insisted on seeing the real thing.
I understand that recently they have had to back off, but I suspect that the now require additional documentation to supplement the BS (Bird Sirtificate).
It might be that you could not get a long form now, after they have done a cover up and ass-covering exercise on Obama’s behalf.
But you certainly, unquestionably, could get a long-form Hawaii BC four years ago, when Obama was supposedly obliged to settle for the BS document. The lies that are getting told about this ought to make people blush in shame.
