Boston Mayor Thomas Menino has banned soda, sports drinks and sweetened ice teas from city property, according to a recent government press release.

In an attempt to reduce the city’s rising obesity rates, Menino has banned all sugary drinks from city vending machines, cafeterias and concession stands...

Which is it, from city property (meaning employees or citizens with business could not bring their own) or from sale on city properties? Or both?

Copy editors and proofreaders must be hard to get.

Looks like he's banned all sugary goodies from CITY PROPERTY, period.

His next step will be to lure and hire airport patter-downers from Homeland Security to frisk all city employees and search their lunch bags eacj morning as they enter the front doors of their office buildings.
