I wouldn’t call it a major victory, but it was more than I expected from Boehner. I give him a B.

As to the rest of your post, I agree that people should climb down off their high horses and get a reality check. When you only control 1/3 of the process, this wasn’t too bad at all as a pretty solid first start into the big battle, especially when the pubs’ usual M.O. is to fully cave, then snivel, then lick their wounds and go home and curl up in the fetal position. It appears that they tuned up their spines a bit, perhaps as a result of the strong rebuke they received over the lame duck fiasco.

*SIGH* We have so far to go to restore this country to a constitutional republic.

Have you ever stopped to think how blissful life could be without Marxists constantly on the prowl?

If we control 1/3 of the process, by my calculations 1/3 of $1400 bn is $467 bn. That's not of the whole budget, just of money we're spending we don't have. We got less than 1/10 of the $467 bn our "control" entitles us too. Yes indeed it was a HUGE WIN.

Another victory like this and I am undone."

And by HUGE WIN, I mean EPIC FAIL. Hopefully, Boehner gets this kind of HUGE WIN the next time the caucus votes.
