10:28 p.m.-- BREAKING: House Speaker John Boehner outlined the parameters of a long-term funding deal, telling his members in a closed-door meeting, "This is the best deal we could get out of them," according to a lawmaker in the room who asked not to be identified.

It was never going to be easy..we knew that. Stay the course and get rid of these rino’s one by one. And replace them with conservatives, one by one. It is a never ending battle..remember Washington lost many a battle of one kind or another...until he won the war.

Republicans propose 6.2 Trillion cuts in Cantors 2012 budget, democrats counteroffer with 6.2 Million in cuts. Boehner caves and says that's close enough.
The GOP got $40 billion in cuts, which is going to enrage the Left.
And Reid folded on the riders. He will lose the vote in the Senate on both EPA and PP.
Victory. Important for the GOP to gain its legs b4 the debt ceiling debate.

Sorry, but, you are wrong. Spending bills originate in the House, but, also must pass the Senate and be signed by the president.

This is true, but he is an inefficient negotiator. I truly believe that he led Reid and the libs on a ride that they probably did have a deal earlier, only to be saved by his aides who reminded him it was political suicide.

If someone doesn’t make HUGE cuts then there will be no way out of the mess. Our country is already basically bankrupt. Every expert out there predicts disaster if we don’t figure this out - yet the politicians seem blind to their spending addiction.
This has been nothing but a game over the last few days - for both sides.

Yes i hear separate votes for pp and obamacare will happen in the senate. this makes me feel a little less badly.
these votes will definitely provide material for nov ‘12 and may even bare some fruit - not likely but... it is more for our movement in the senate in 12.
