As the deadline to avoid a government shutdown approached Friday night, Sarah Palin pushed Republican Congressional leaders one more time to hold their ground.
"GOP: don't retreat! The country is going broke. We can't AFFORD cowboy poetry & subsidizing abortion," Palin tweeted. "If we can't fight to defund this nonsense now when we have the chance, do you think we'll win the big fight on entitlement reform later on?"

Notably, some of Palins fellow possible 2012 presidential contenders appeared to be at odds with her Friday evening tweet, counseling GOP leaders on Capitol Hill that its time to cut a deal.
I am ready for a big fight that will change the arc of history, Rep. Michelle Bachmann, R-Minn., wrote on Twitter this afternoon. The current fight in Washington is not that fight.

Former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee.....Nobodys more pro-life than me. Nobody. But as much as I want to see Planned Parenthood defunded, as much as I want to see N.P.R lose their funding, the reality is the president and the Senate are never going to go along with that. So win the deal you can win and live to fight another day.

Palin separates herself from the pack of wobbly ones FOR SURE
You got that right
All I can say is Sarah speaks for me. As usual, the opposite of the libs, Rino’s and repub’s. One voice crying in the dark days of the USA.
You are not winning when you are bitching at an amount that is less than is added to the national debt in a week. It is meaningless.
“If we can’t fight to defund this nonsense now when we have the chance, do you think we’ll win the big fight on entitlement reform later on?”
Right on.
I love that. Love how she just knows what to say to piss off the Left as well as the BlueBlood types (yeah I'm talking to you barbara).

From the same Governor that gave instate tuition to illegals!!!!
“The Annie Oakley of U.S. politics.”
Speaking of Annie Oakley and Cowboy Poetry...
“There’s a charming little girl
She’s many miles from here
She’s a loving little fairy
You’d fall in love to see her
Her presence would remind you
Of an Angel in the skies,
And you bet I love this little girl
with the rain drops in her eyes.”
“
Frank Butler written on the range to his sweetheart, the sharpshooter that won his purse money and knocked him back down to being a cattleman and broke his heart - written WITHOUT any federal funding.
He and Annie Oakley were lifelong loves, he died 18 days after her.

Huckabee the guy who said it would be “Unchristian” to deny them benefits!
You are right. We need a new phrase to replace the no longer applicable "that's what separates the men from the boys". These days the men and boys seem to be inseparable and we are counting more and more on the strong gals to keep conservatism alive and well.
Yeah. If she’ll get off the fence and jump in the damn race.
The only nads on our side belong to the women! Sad....
“I do think at this point Sarah Palin, Trump and the others in the GOP should talk to those wobbly ones soon.”
Okay, but shouldn’t Trump formally renounce his liberal views first? Assuming he’s done so in his heart.
But if Trump is still the big government liberal he was three years ago, the thing to do is ignore him.
With Palin, we don’t have to wonder where she really stands.
Gov Palin is the Alpha, the rest are the betas
What’s this a quick list of douchebags that we need to eradicate from the slate now?

Palin is so right, if these cave-in “conservatives” won’t fight on the easy stuff, how will they ever hold their positions on the tough fights like entitlements?
