During the lame duck congress Sen. McConnel worked a great conservative deal with the democrats, (his fellow travlers) that increased spending by 150-200 BILLION DOLLARS in the current fiscal year.
All spending bills are supposed to start in the US House, but this bill started in the US Senate. Speaker Boehner knew this and still passed the Unconstitutional bill that McConnel had given to the democrats.
Now we watch this great dog and pony show over 30 Billion in cuts as if the republicans are really doing something great.
But, they have given us the hope down the road for the 6 trillon in cuts from a budget that was already bloated and red ink projected at over 16 trillion dollars over the next ten years.
My money says Boehner didn't cave, after he wiped his tears and gave Reid a lip lock gave his socialist friends what they wanted.
Our republican leaders make me ill.
Sen Hatch just reported on Fox that Boenher is at 31 billion dollars.
Way to go Boenher. end sarcasm
When are conservatives going to get that the GOP is just the other big government party?
Would appear as though We the People have been rolled....one more time.
The RinoCrat Oligarchy is making it officially them against us...
Boner is a Idiot,Pretty soon he will be giving money to the Rats,Disgusting! Get this creep out of there and put a man in WHO can negotiate with snakes, Hint you do it with a club!
see my tag line. Right now we only have one party.
So they could split conservatives this year.
The 2012 budget will have complete hearings, etc. which did not happen for 2011.
I’ll reserve judgement until the deadline passes.
Boehner KNOWS what we want ... nay, DEMAND ... from him and his RINO pals.
If Boehner knuckles under and allows a “compromise” of only $31 billion in cuts, he knows there will be a revolt. (A revolt of sorts; not the “dad’s old shotgun” type quite yet.) The Speaker has had MORE than enough conservative warning.
But we still have the firebrand freshmen! This is NOT a done deal! The new kids in Congress still have something to add to this (such as their votes), and they KNOW we’re pissed as hell.
This isn’t over, not by a long shot.
The lame duck deal was a hell of a lot more than 200 billion.
