Jewish Democrats asked to denounce Obama's meeting with Al Sharpton

The National Jewish Democratic Council is on record (http://www.njdc.org/media/entry/njdc_decries_mitt_romneys_embrace_of_henry_ford) as condemning Mitt Romney’s appearance at the Henry Ford Museum because of Ford’s publication of “The International Jew.” Henry Ford has been dead for more than 60 years, and he retracted and repudiated “The International Jew” before he died. This means that NJDC has set a red line at association with a dead EX-anti-Semite. We are therefore confident that NJDC will take prompt public exception to Barack Obama’s multiple appearances, the most recent on April 6 2011, with a live and unrepentant one.

“Civil rights leader” is a creative term for an individual who levies racially-motivated false accusations of rape (Tawana Brawley scandal) and leads a hate group whose racist and anti-Semitic hate speech inspires a deranged individual to set a Jewish-owned store on fire to kill seven of its employees along with himself. To this may be added Sharpton’s association with the reenactment of the Night of the Broken Glass during the Crown Heights riots.

I want to make it clear . . . that we will not stand by and allow them to move this brother so that some white interloper can expand his business.” Sharpton’s colleague, Morris Powell, said of the Jewish owner — Sharpton’s “white interloper” — “We’re going to see that this cracker suffers. Reverend Sharpton is on it.”

During the 1995 black boycott of Freddy’s clothing store in Harlem, Morris Powell, the leader of the boycott and the head of Sharpton’s Buy Black committee, referred to Jews as “crackers.” He shouted to passersby, “Keep [going] right on by Freddy’s. He’s one of the greedy Jew bastards killing our people. Don’t give the Jew a dime.” This was all done with Sharpton’s knowledge and blessing.

There are no shortage of democratic joos in my state, mostly from Orlando south. The overwhelming number of them are from NY and NJ who came down here to get away from the cold and brought their liberal self-loathing disease with them.

The one thing that has always baffled me is that during democratic administrations, relations with Israel have suffered, especially with the current muslim administration. And yet they love them. Obviously these joos hate Israel as much as the arabs do.

NO argument from me and I am Jewish - and a Republican. I do not understand my fellow Jews. I think the problem is that most of them know nothing about Judaism and confuse the Democratic party with the Jewish religion. Very sad.

There was a guy on Michael Savage (Weiner) show from NYC. His name was Angelo or Mario. One of his best callers ever and he gets great callers. He talked about secular (union) Catholics and Jews. I forget exactly what he said but he was fantastic. He essentially said what you have said. Liberalism/DNC is their religion. Very sad indeed.

Another example was when Bibi did his wilderness tour. He was set up by Clinton goons and forced out. I refer to it as his “wilderness tour” like Churchill after he was thrown out before WW2 then brought back.

Bibi probably was not financially doing well and he gave speeches to big crowds at mostly evangelical mega churches. Many Jews attended the speeches.

Meanwhile, Clinton was getting paid big bucks at many temples to talk about his favorite subject - himself!

My thoughts exactly. This is not the time to be shoring up your sagging base. Clinton and Bush 43 were on a full court press to get the independents and leaners going into their reelection. The base should be sufficiently with you from your actions the first term. Obummer way oversold and is totally undelivering which has demoralized his welfare base. This guy is in far worse shape than Carter was at this time in his Presidency.

I am often frustrated, but I remain baffled why there is so much attention to 1.7% of the electorate.

Only in the rarest of situations, do we matter electorally.

To have multiple daily posts seems, well, odd.

And, the posters who post the “stupid Joooos” posts are the same four or five posters over-and-over; they are, without fail, negative on anyone or anything remotely Jewish (whether the harsh comment is deserved or not), so it seems they have another agenda.

The 1.7% of the electorate has excellent turnout in elections, perhaps more so than other demographic groups.

I do not care for generalizations like this about Jews, especially since I happen to be one. On the other hand, there are people who act under color of Judaism (like the Westboro Baptist Church, which does what it does under color of Christianity) who create negative perceptions of this nature.

When it comes to legislation that attacks the Second Amendment, there always seem to be one or more names with “Fein,” “Stein,” “Levin,” “Berg,” and so on attached to it although there are of course plenty of non-Jewish names too (e.g. McCarthy and previously Kennedy). On the other hand, I personally broke the back of the Million Mom March so there are plenty of genuine Jews who are not at all sympathetic to this agenda. That would tend to suggest that people who post phrases like “stupid Joooos” have issues that go beyond the conduct of specific individuals who act under color of Judaism.

Obama is not the only Democratic bigwig - including well-known white (and even Jewish) politicians - to pal around with Sharpton.

It's obvious that few if any in the 'Rat party have the courage to criticize their icon, Reverend Al. The reason is simple: if you're a Democrat and you take issue with Sharpton, you lose significant support in the black community.

Of course, Bill Levinson (the author of the posted article) and the rest of us aren't holding our collective breaths waiting for for the National Jewish Democratic Council to bash Obama for his kissing up to Sharpton.

And Levinson makes a great point in contrasting the NJDC's handling of the Obama-Sharpton association with their inane attack on Mitt Romney for appearing at the Henry Ford Museum, when in fact the museum has had no connection whatsoever to antisemitism ever. (BTW, if the NJDC wants to get into the history of the late Henry Ford's antisemitism, they should take notice that Mr. Ford was a DEMOCRAT, who ran unsuccessfully as such for the US Senate in 1918.)

White Gentiles make up more than 50% of the electorate and Al Sharpton has said plenty of things about white people as a whole, not just about Jews. This also needs to be made clear to the electorate; Sharpton is the Black equivalent of the Ku Klux Klan.

That is because, unfortunately, my fellow Jews are Jews in Name Only (JINOS) who do not take G-d’s promises seriously. They are estranged from religion. Period. And they know almost nothing about Judaism. When they meet a pro life Jew they are thoroughly bewildered.
