Obamas chief strategist David Axelrod assesses the showdown over the budget:
Just last year, voters didnt vote for more ideology. But yet they swept in a group that is very partisan and ideological, he said. You see that up in Wisconsin, which has been divided in a war over union rights.
Isnt this like arguing that Americans didnt vote for conservative policies, even though they elected a lot of conservatives? (Notice the term swept in he makes it sound accidental, like America was cleaning the front steps and got careless with the broom.)
Obama argued that his victory was a mandate for his agenda recall, I won. But somehow Republican victories at the Senate, House, and gubernatorial levels carry no mandate; through some sort of giant national misunderstanding, Americans completely misread the agenda of the candidates they elected. An electorate that somehow knew precisely what it wanted in 2008 became careless and ignorant in 2010.
The heck se didn’t!
AxelrodIdiot.....crawl back into your hole, kkthx. =.=
Listen asshole you just sit down and let us do our work. After what you yahoos pulled the last couple of years with our Health Care. You better STFU! got it
The list, ping
Let me know if you would like to be on or off the ping list
The point always needs to be made in response that the liberals denial of the reasons for their losses shows their arrogance and conceit and a perpetual lust for power, which is exactly the reason why American must continue to vote them out of office.
Looks to me that they have started unsweeping.
What a stupid statement. He might as well have said “America didn’t vote for republicans but they elected a bunch of republicans.”
You see that up in Wisconsin, which has been divided in a war over union rights.
‘Union rights’ do NOT trump the ‘Bill of Rights’...nothing does.
Somewhere along the line Liberals got (and stayed) confused.
I ALWAYS vote for ideology:
Conservative candidates who emphasize a belief in small government and individual rights.
I know I am the only one who votes this way...
it has been comical for some time watching the libs try to spin.
they are so in trouble
They voted against Obama.
These tea party freshmen are the anti-Obama.
What part of freshman year logic did you
sleep through, Axelrod?
Axelrod, the Kapo, should go back to whatever camp he crawled out of.
Axelrod has trouble when the real grass grows through his astroturf.
gaslighting...
AXELROD: WHERE IS THE BIRTH CERTIFICATE?
You just keep working and paying, or you shall see who works for whom. In rather unpleasant manner, but manner none the less.
The majority of Americans voted for a person with no obvious qualifications, other than that (as Biden put it) he was “The first mainstream African-American who is articulate and bright and clean and a nice-looking guy.” Why would anyone be surprised that he is a front man for idealogically driven wackos? Simply because we hadn’t had one before? Poor logic, that one.
