Donald Trump Explains Conversion to Pro-Life Side on Abortion
New York, NY -- Business mogul Donald Trump shocked attendees at the conservative CPC conference in February when he declared himself pro-life after years of supporting the pro-abortion position.

Hannity was questioning him on social issues yesterday on his radio show. Donald is suddenly very socially conservative. However he pointed out to Hannity that putting social issues first in a candidate could get Obama re-elected, that Americans need to look at the mess we are in financially and with foreign powers.
I have seen this happen with a number of male friends.
You can’t always get what you want. But if you try sometimes, you just might find, you get what you need.
Deciding to run for president has caused stranger conversions in the past.
Should we be wary of him for flip-flopping? Maybe, but I’m glad to hear of anyone having a genuine change of heart on this issue. At least he is willing to talk about it and explain why he changed his position.
When’s the last time Romney was able to explain his flip-flops in a believable manner?
Nice to see someone move the other way for a change. The Democratic “Catholic” politicians who have made the Kennedyesque move to the pro-death side over the past several decades, falling in line with Democratic party dogma and tossing aside Catholic belief, has been sickening.
Did Hannity question him about how he would vet court nominees?
I was raised Catholic, all of my Catholic relatives voted for this worthless man in the White House. When I pointed out that Catholics should not support a man who believes in third trimester abortion they ignored me. Why are so many Catholics democrats? Makes absolutely no sense!
I went from pro choice to pro life overnight too. It does happen and I think Trump is likely sincere. I wish his so called conversion was based on the right premise though and not simply on emotion as he explained it. That right premise, of course, is that the baby is a PERSON with rights of its own.
Trump is just another self serving ass with a bad comb-over. Of course he’s changing his stand prior to the run-up. Nobody should be surprised.
I didn’t hear the whole interview so that I do not know. But that indeed is a great question! If Obama wins again the Supremes will be leaning left...
Social issues will be aimed at the Congress and Senate this time around thanks to Obama putting this economy and the nation in such danger.
I will give Trump the benefit of the doubt. People do change.
If the election were today I’d vote for the man!
Over here.
You bet they'll be leaning left... heck more than just leaning they will BE left. Elections have consequences. At least this time we can say it BEFORE the election and not after like we usually do.
Elections Have Consequences
Lousy catechesis, in my opinion. Catholics are not taught the truths about faith and morals anymore and haven’t been for a while.
Take some time to pick up one of his books. You can see he’s honest and straightforward. You don’t get to be successful of work (making deals based on reputation) being dishonest.
Here’s a quote from Trump’s book, “The Art of the Deal”:
“My favorite reaction to the world’s tallest building came from columnist George Will. I’ve always liked Will, in part because he’s not afraid to challenge fashion, “Donald Trump is not being reasonable,” Will wrote. “But, then, man does not live by reason alone, fortunately. Trump, who believes that excess can be a virtue, is as American as Manhattan’s skyline, which expresses the Republic’s erupting energies. He says the superskyscraper is necessary because it is unnecessary. He believes architectural exuberance is good for us [and] he may have a point. Brashness, zest and elan are part of this country’s character.”
