I think that instead of spending the money for such, and potential legal hassles it would entail, it's best just to leave it up to the voters. That is, investigate and improve the procedures, but the ballot box is a nice reprimand for elected officials, IMHO, unless it was criminal behavior.

OTOH, given her political party and/or voters' short memories, she will likely breeze into re-election anyway.

They were studying the 14-thousand-315 votes that the county clerk says she failed to count last Tuesday
