No matter how things turn, it already bothers me how many errors have already been uncovered. It doesn’t give me much faith in our voting system.
THESE “COMPUTER ERRORS” GOTTA BE STOPPED!!!!!!
You are dead-on correct, it truly sucks that this many errors can happen. It’s just COUNTING people, what we learn how to do in kindergarten! There is not a lot of chatter about requiring photo ID to vote in WI - something the legislature should have taken care of while the fleabaggers were out of the state. They should anyway....
Two big problems: The potential for fraud, and the potential for error. Having a county official rely on an old PC just because she felt like it is the height of incompetence.
This may be an ‘intentional’ error. We’ll see.
As long as computers count the ballots, the left will win every time, like it does in Oregon and Washington States.
State Legislatures should pass laws that we go back to precinct polling places, and hand counted ballots the old fashioned way.
Computers are easily manipulated. If a Republican is ahead, the computers “break down”, and when they come back up, the Democrat is ahead! Happens every time!
So let’s see some good legislation concerning our voting process. Vote by mail is open to fraud, too.
Indeed. I can’t help but think about Bush-Gore 2000 in FL...all during the night, Bush’s lead dropped to just over 200 votes. Gore never took the lead...not once. Yet, it truly altered the landscape with regard to elections in this country...whether national, state, local, etc. I don’t see how we can put our faith and trust in electronic voting in the country; one person - with ID - one ballot. Period.
You should have no faith in the US voting system, nor should you have any faith that any democrat will ever transfer power.
Once you get that down, you know what to expect in 2012.
When a thourough and unbiased investigation is done by someone in the future it will likely show this country was not much different than a Banana Republic over the last 50 years—sad to say. A pox on both the Pubbie and demrat parties for this sad state of affairs.
Thankfully, the Prosser case is cracking the secret codes. I’m increasingly of the opinion that we ordinary citizens—Tea Party Minutemen (I include women in that title) as it were—will have to wrest power from the political class by whatever means. Then, reacquaint ourselves with the The Constitution and Bill of Rights and then restart our political process.
All the idiots in DC are doing right now is picking away at the edges.
