The latest vote count in the state Supreme Court race in Winnebago County indicates incumbent David Prosser is leading Assistant Attorney General JoAnne Kloppenburg in votes.
A tally compiled by The Associated Press Wednesday and used by news organizations statewide, including the Journal Sentinel, indicated Kloppenburg was leading the race by 204 votes. Figures on Winnebago County's website are now different from those collected by the AP.
Winnebago County's numbers say Prosser received 20,701 votes to Kloppenburg's 18,887. The AP has 19,991 for Prosser to Kloppenburg's 18,421.
The new numbers would give Prosser 244 more votes, or a 40-vote lead statewide.

It'd be nice if Prosser would come out and say, "I won" the way Kleptocrat did, but he's probably too modest and circumspect to do that.

Can you say “Franken is behind”?
bump
Frankenklop is behind.
Is there a legal fund set up yet for the recount?
gonna be a long drawn out brawl
Who really expected this to turn out any other way? The more recounts they have, the more the dims win.
Any word on all the UW-Madison votes from college kids? I heard something about they were supposed to present drivers licenses to vote as WI residents.
One thing is certain: there is no way this is going to resolved very quickly; for all intents and purposes the race is a tie.
Next step: a series of re-counts, each one of which will have Kloppenburg a little closer to winning.
After five or ten iterations of this, Kloppenburg will be ahead by, say, 14 votes. At that point, the re-counts will stop, and Kloppenburg will be declared the winner.
bttt
Shhh - don’t tell anyone, but Prosser is the good guy. . .
they found another mistake and Prosser is now up 240 votes!
All I’ve read thus far is that there is an investigation underway. It will take time to cross-match the names, addresses, provional balloting, etc.. The outcome of that will all depend on how the Madison and Eau Claire and their nearby area canvassers are pressured to do their jobs accurately and honestly. Only the pubs can apply that scrutiny/pressure because obviously the rats want the opposite.

The article hasn’t been up for 24 hours. It’s been up less than 2 hours right now. If you read the full article, you will find this:
“An editor at the AP said the news service became aware of the discrepancy in the past hour. The AP last checked figures with Winnebago County at 10:14 a.m. Wednesday, according to the AP. The county adjusted its figures at 2:27 p.m.”
We shall see. For the moment, I will take AP at its word that it just learned of this. I will give them some time to verify with Winnebago County and update their tally. If they haven’t done so and made the announcement by this evening, it will be clear that they are as deceptive and biased in this as they’ve proved themselves to be in so many other events.
Down goes kloppenhorse! Down goes kloppnhorse!
Channel 4 just had about a 1800 hundred vote prosser lead, they have to be wrong.
