Being popular does not make you right.

Beck is correct more often than not. That makes him unpopular and his message becomes a cumulative "Debbie the Downer" after a while. American media is all about making people feel good while entertaining them. Beck's messages made people feel really bad while he entertained them. The people had no tools or experience in processing the realities Beck delivered.

Yes the show DID make me feel bad sometimes.

But that was my fault for being a p*ssy. Now I learned to use the info he gave me to prepare for things that could happen.

Now I sleep better.
