I’ve been to Pennsylvania several times, and had friends from there. Not a place I want to live, thanks. ;o]

I’ve been cleaning, doing online searches and have more cleaning to do, along with the feeding and watering of the current Pet. She is leaving for MA on Saturday night, so my stint here will be short and sweet. I think.

You end up with wierd catz because they have found a kindred spirit. I mean, look at your kids.... Er...(Who SAID that?)

My spill proof keyboard has been abused, and is showing its age.
It is ‘only’ eleven years old or so.

That’s a lot of years out of a keyboard.

For a minute there, I thought I was having a flashback, but then I realized it was a reflection.

How is everyone in NC this day? It was 83 at 4:00 AM when Bus Daddy went to work, and when I walked to Walgreen’s at 9:15, it was 96. The wind is ugly.

Hi. Busy day. Kids had swim practice in the morning, and then I cooked dinner for Asuncion’s family, because she’s poorly, and then took it to them, along with ice cream and a cold 6-pack of Dos Equis, because she said their air conditioning was out.

Then I took Tom to the corner clinic for his camp physical. Now we’re working up to a thunderstorm; I need to go get Elen at the pool.

Yeesh! Last week a tweaker rabbit herding rattle snakes; this week a whale taking a surprise swipe at a family out fishing.

Keep yer powder dry, folks; the wildlife are getting militant!

... it’s a tenuous area.

I think you meant "sinuous"; it IS, after all, Darks you're referring to.

Your friend same would end up with his head being used as a football, I suspect. Or a polo ball.

Hope you’re not too sick this morning. I feel like death, and all I had was a little wine and 7-up. Ash was up at 3.

Wonders never cease. Yesterday I dished myself a bowl of chocolate ice cream, took a taste, then thought the better of it and put it, dish and all, back into the freezer.

Then half an hour later, I went back and wolfed it down.

But--- half an hour! Don't I get a bronze medal or something?

You lasted HALF AN HOUR????

Ohmy. I am in awe! Chocolate and denial somehow don’t belong in the same sentence. Paragraph. Page. Book. Library.

Historical figures to get drunk with?

Askold, Patrick Henry, and John Browning.

Between the 4 of us we'd probably end up reconquering most of Eastern Europe before our binge was up.
