We will probably hear from the Prime Minister on TV soon live, I suspect. It is 1 a.m. Friday a.m., and a workday for most people tomorrow. So there will be long faces tomorrow. But still, people will recover, say "shoganai" (it cant be helped) and continue on with life.
All I recommend is that everyone in Japan have their security plan worked out and their emergency supplies all in order. I recommend avoiding CNN like the plague, and if possible, getting "NHK World" live, streaming on wwitv.com, with the English voice over. It will give specifics, rather than just Western tabloid hype.

(NEVER seen such irresponsible, panic-driven, unscientific reports as on CNN/Fox, etc. re: Japan)

Indeed, that is how it is done, isn’t it...
Thank you for the news recommendations and please do know that you all have been, and will continue to be in the prayers of so many people around the world.
God bless.

I watch NHK World here in Los Angeles. That has been my main source for extended coverage. Actually, it’s pretty much my only source. Sooooo......
I ((((heart)))) Japan.
