Update (AP): Good lord. With just 10 precincts still left to report, Kloppenburg now leads by 140 votes 738,368 to 738,228. Of the 10 remaining precincts, eight are in counties where Kloppenburg currently leads. Gulp.
If youre holding your breath waiting for the recount to start, exhale now. Itll be a long, long time coming. Update (AP): Just five precincts to go now and Kloppenburgs lead has opened to not quite 500 votes.

Plan B. The Supreme Court rules for the unions. Plan B, MASSIVE LAYOFFS. How will that go down with the rank and file? The legislature still holds the purse strings.
wisconsin voters deserve the judges they vote for or allow to be foisted on them
remember, elections can never be close, due to fraud,
to all those who sat this one out
good luck ya’ll
great minds....
Sounds like a recount regardless of which way it ends up.
Sounds simple enough, re-vote while you have the cowards there.
An amusing little notion, but unfortunately not likely to be true.
I have a friend who serves on a local school board.
Looks like this is how it will play out:
A LENGTHY court battle over recounts, which will keep the SC deadlocked and allow the Dane County Bimbo’s injunction to stand, keeping Walker’s changes from happening. This will drag out until Walker has been more than a year in office. Then they can fire up their recall campaign in earnest.
3 precincts left, Klopp by 224.
Screwed indeed, and it is sad.
We are really becoming a nation divided - between those states that are committing fiscal suicide, and those that that still hold on to rationality.
done.. over... they always win the close ones. If it ain’t close, they can’t cheat (Hugh Hewitt).
The unions have won, Wisconsin, get over it. Besides, Look at all that the great things they have done for California the last 10 years. We can add you on as another poster boy for Socialism and its ‘success’ stories.
Oh wait. Socialism takes money away from its paying citizens and redistributes it, Conservatism seeks to return it to the community thru more normal channels or leave it there in the first place..
Fine, for every dollar the court orders for increases in benefits, deduct the same amount from teacher salaries by laying them off.
I am as frustrated as anyone. But I remain ever the optimist, by choice, because that is the only stance that allows us all to move forward.
These knuckleheads appear to have won a battle — barely — that was very, very heavily stacked in their favor. The long term trends remain very much in favor of conservatives, and the war is moving in our direction.
Politicizing the judiciary has long been a Dem strategy, but in this case it will backfire mightily, especially if an army of Dem lawyers line up for the recount, win (as they surely will), and then JK immediately proceeds to legislate collective bargaining from the bench — as she has promised she would do.
We must all resolve to carry on. This looks like it will be a defeat, but it must be a principled one, and it must lead to a regrouping that pushes the cause forward ... better and more ambitious than ever.
What did I tell you?
Trunks FULL of Kloppenburg ballots!
You are correct.
Trust me, I've already argued over five years with him on this stuff. He's taught me just how bad it is.
Laying off the teachers(the ones you can by law) only leaves you with the worst most unmotivated hubris imagineable.
If it's s close then Prosser probably won by 10% in a fair election.
So, is anyone here convinced that American voters have “had enough” of this Socialist control over America?
Here is a prime example of the strangle hold the Left has on this country.
