Former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin (R) on Tuesday commended House Budget Committee Chairman Paul Ryan's (R-Wis.) budget, calling it "Serious & necessary."
Palin, a potential 2012 presidential candidate, said that Ryan's proposal is a good start (and linked to an op-ed from December when she praised Ryan's previous budget plan, a "Roadmap for America's Future").
She tweeted:
There is hope! Serious & necessary leadership rolls out serious & necessary reform proposal. Good start (from Dec. http://on.wsj.com/eP0Kwo)

Why I Support the Ryan Roadmap
HotAir: Friday Palin op-ed in the Journal: I endorse Paul Ryans roadmap on entitlements
Sarah Palins huge 2012 move: She endorses Paul Ryans Roadmap
The Crats and Media are going to have a field day with his plan. Logic and reason no longer sell. It is an all out battle over the scraps left over from free enterprise.
And so do I. I’m very pleased to see her endorsement.
His budget actually adds, trillions and trillions and more trillions to the national debt. We will be paying interest on the interest on the interest on the interest twenty dollars for a can of coke not very far away.
Prove it.
If Sarah and Mark Levin both endorse it seriously, I’m certainly going to look at it *very* seriously.
We have to do SOMETHING in real life. We can’t cut 100% of spending. We have to cut some REAL percentage and reduce government to some POSSIBLE size. 20% of GDP sounds entirely possible to me.
This sounds like a very, very good plan so far.
Really! And Obama was born in Dublin too.
Mark Levin interviews Paul Ryan on new budget proposal
This is a great interview as Levin gives Paul Ryan plenty of time to unpack what this new budget proposal will actually do. It cuts a lot of spending over a fairly short amount of time and Levin gives it high marks.
You must be on the wrong thread, what does Obummer have to do with the republican grape flavored budget proposal from Mr Tarp. Other than it will never made it up to his desk.
The government must continue to exist. It is not possible, in real life, to cut spending by 100% in one year.
What do you propose as an alternative to Paul Ryan’s plan that reduces the percentage of govt expenses from 25%+ of GDP down to 20% of GDP within a few years?
And yes, I understand that the size of govt will still grow, just as the population of the country will grow, but so will the GDP if we can cut the tax rate to 25% and implement some of the the other items in the plan.
We need another ØBozo term to give him a fair opportunity to right the wrongs that he's had control over.
Please, can't we all just get along!?!
Rush nailed it yesterday... either we cut to the bone, or every American paying income taxes will have to give up 88% of their earnings in taxes to keep the communist party’s agenda intact and paid for... your choice... NOW CHOOSE!
LLS
Yeah... prove it in detail and we want hard figures and facts.

His plan does not one thing to reduce the size of government. It is that simple, until the plan is to actually down size government, this plan maintains the status quo and is pie in the sky and no change big government getting bigger everyday. But one thing is a fact, there is no control on what congress will do next year and ten years out is nothing but a sad joke. The real thing is the republicans have thrown in the towel, end of game.
Any population that elected Obama is too far over the edge to come back. It will take a total collapse to bring them to their senses. It is going to get real Ugly soon.
O’Bama!
Graph, post 16 and if Ryan really used a 2.8 unemployment number his line will really slope more toward Obummers sooner. Because that unemployment number is pie in the sky with diamonds.
