Libs: "cut loose radical members" for budget compromise
Grassfire ^ | 4-1-11 | grassfire

The Hill is reporting that Rep. Jim Hines (D-CT) said today, "If we avoid a government shutdown on Saturday it will be because John Boehner, at last, has figured out a way to gain control of his caucus -- which probably means cutting loose the radical members... quote-unquote Tea Partiers."

So there you have it. Democrats aren't the slightest bit interested in representing the people, and are now demanding Republicans too cast us aside so that business as usual can resume on Capitol Hill...

Let them shut it down. And remind the Democrats to take their own advice on radicals in their party (if there are even any left in their party that aren’t), and to let Republicans concern themselves with how to be Republican. The majority of people, about 60%, are alright with the shut-down, and it’s not like with Clinton where he had his popularity to carry him through. This one is sinking like a lead golfball in a course water hazard.

The left is launching a full scale assault from all sides.

Jim Wallis promises to “unleash God” on republicans who support budget cuts. The “We are one” teach ins intend to recruit students to save the unions and collective bargaining rights.

We are one toolkit has some very interesting info as well as a student pledge form.

cutting loose the radical members... quote-unquote Tea Partiers.”

You do that Mr. Boehner and you will regret it.
The tea party is in no mood to be thrown over
for compromise with the leftists.

If they stab us in the back this time... it will not matter what they do going forward. All of the money and power will be in the Tea Party and the death of the republican party will be assured.

I’m with you. Maybe it’s time we had a new party if
these “republicans” only pay lip service to the ones
who put them in office.

Let it all shut down!

Then keep it shut down till the RATS unconditionally surrender, and/or until those non-essential employees who go without paychecks have saved the taxpayer the planned minuscule amount.

"which probably means cutting loose the radical members... quote-unquote Tea Partiers."

Well, finally a fellow DIM has framed the debate in a manner that all of us have understood...but for some reason Boner hasn't.

Hey Boner, it's us or them. Pick a side. You no longer have the luxury of not choosing.
