FORT LAUDERDALE— A Fort Lauderdale woman will spend 10 years in prison for spraying another woman with Mace, knocking her down and stomping on her head until her eyes, nose and mouth bled, a Broward County judge ordered Monday.
Porsha Dale, 22, who has a 5-year-old son, had asked for house arrest, anger management classes and treatment for depression. The two women were both interested in the same man at the time of the attack.

The male of the human species can be very odd about such things.
When I was in the USN back in the Seventies, I knew two good ole boys from Mississippi...they used to go on liberty, and have a contest to see who could bed the ugliest woman.
They called it “Hog Hunting”.
They took polaroids, and would come back skunk-drunk wearing their sh*tkickers and cowboy hats and ask people to judge.
I swear, it was one of the most debauched things I had seen, but you simply couldn’t help laughing. These guys were so far outside the range of normal behavior that I, as an 18 year old kid had ever seen.
Heck, in Newark (NJ) they train Army medics at one of the hospitals due to the number of gunshot wounds. The animals do serve a purpose.
I agree, 10 years isn’t enough. Very sad.
The victim has been in a coma since 2009, and will likely die without regaining consciousness. This animal should have gotten life without parole.
