I somewhat disagree about record stores. There is still a boat of music that you cannot get on the internet legally.

There’s also stuff like bootlegs of shows.

There are several programs that will record music that you can only “listen” to on the net. No sharing involved. Also many programs that will record streaming Movies as well.

I think it’s really news non-specialized record stores. Between the internet and Best Buy and the book stores and Target/ WalMart there’s just too much competition for a shrinking market. Once you go boutique or used most of that competition goes away.
