Geraldo Rivera reporting from Libya truly demonstrates the great lengths he will go in order to report a story, as he found himself in the middle of crossfire between an unruly gang of Libyan rebels and the professional snipers from Gaddafis forces. Geraldo quickly ducks for cover, and the brave crew keeps the camera rolling.
Rivera described the chaotic experience:
It was a wild, wild scene. And I was as worried about getting shot in the back by the good guys, as I was about getting shot in the front by the Gaddafi forces.
Also with his on-the-ground knowledge, Rivera provides a startling assessment of the rebel army, suggesting they have the fire discipline of an L.A. street gang. As a result, Rivera advises against NATO or America arming the rebels, because if the rebels had more weapons, Geraldo predicts they would be a grave danger to themselves and others [since] they dont know how to use these weapons.

I’m with you on the staged thing. At one point in the full clip there is a guy standing next to a truck randomly shooting into the air. Maybe Jerry Rivers would have been in danger real danger only if he were in a hot air balloon.
Hey Jerry, see if you can find Al Capone’s vault while you are crawling in the dirt you drama queen media whore.
Why is Geraldo always “the story” in his reports?
Geraldo. News for you. Al Qaeda isn’t “the good guys.”
So much for for intelligent, objective reporting.
I guess this means Geraldo won't be interviewing Kadiffy any time soon.
Well true!
But he holds a microphone and acts like one!
I think he had this staged..Didn't he do that once before stage a gun battle while he was out reporting..He is trying to get his rating up,I noticed he is a regular on Fox And friends trying to drum up business..
So let me get this straight. Geraldo is AMONG the rebels, and he issues a statement advising against arming the rebels? What do you think the reaction of the rebels towards Geraldo and his crew will be once they find out what he told the American people?
Another faked battle scene for Geraldo. He was probably 3 miles away from any action.
“They need to require hunting orange on him.”
lol!
“I have been predicting we will see a journalist killed on live television eventually in one of these situations.”
And that would be a bad thing because.......
Its a rerun of the same scene from when he went to Iraq and then again to Afghanistan.
Geraldo (A Magnet For RPGs) no matter where he goes
