Pretending that group differences in intelligence and academic achievement don't exist and lowering standards to meet quotas will get people killed, whether the profession is policing, firefighting, or medicine. Many cities have been sued by the federal government for having written tests for firemen and policemen with unequal pass rates.

I’m hoping that doctors young and old demonstrate their “critical thinking” skills by unanimously voting against Obama in 2012.

Sadly, they won't. The AMA and drug companies didn't support Obamacare because they thought it would be good for patients.

Great they are removing the writing requirement - that is the area in which my daughter does best.

Seems like communication is an important part of being a doctor, and writing is one way to demonstrate the ability to communicate.

Now in general Math and Science have one right answer. Social Studies is a different matter - will those questions presuppose a statist solution is the correct solution for a social problem? I will be real curious to see the questions from this section.

The social studies part is easy. Just answer Martin Luther King, Caesar Chavez, or Bella Abzug and you will get most of them right.
