Are you old enough to remember the polio-era line: "funny as an iron lung"? After all, what kind of person would find funny the notion of someone fighting to breathe?

Today's Morning Joe played a Letterman clip of a faux-promo for an imaginary TV show called "The Dick Cheney Story." As the title song from the Mary Tyler Moore Show plays merrily in the background, we're treated to images of Cheney wielding a gun, in a wheelchair and undergoing open-heart surgery. The clip closes with video of Cheney fighting to get a breath of air.
Cut to Mika, doubled-over, laughing hysterically, literally to the point of tears.

I've mentioned it to a small handful of people. Conservatives have all said, "Yep, there's got to be a better way to do that."
Liberals have all said, "Well, I need to go to a gynecologist once a year, so it's about time you suffered, too."
Completely different mindsets. One wants to improve things, the other wants to drag everyone down to their level.
I'd also add they suffer from obsessive-compulsive disorder. Cheney hasn't been VP for how long now? And Letterman/Mika can't let it go.

I can laugh at most anything and that video was not funny no matter who or what political party it was making fun of.
Mika is a sick sick progressive.
Why would Morning Joe even show a clip like that? It had to clear several mgmt levels before they could show it. It’s just sick and typical of Letterman who hasn’t been funny in 30 years. Her reaction is truly sick.
