They have to do with the individual responsibility of an individual American to behave responsibly.
I've made that point repeatedly and whether or not it is understood is no longer up to me. It's up to those who distort the actual words I've said to try to get the point I have been making.
That is an excellant point you'v e made, and if you apply that same concept to the koran burning you'll see where those of us who are defending the buring are coming from.
So then are you claiming that the Danish Cartoonist and the Danish Filmmaker were irresponsible and therefore deserved their own deaths at the hands of the offended Muslims?
How about holding ISLAM PERSONALLY RESPONSIBLE for the HATRED and appeals to murder and violence that are contained in the very pages of the book that Jones burned?
No, in your opinion, Jones should be held responsible for the deaths in Afghanistan and when the radical Muslims kill him, it will be because he acted "irresponsibly". Does that sum up your position?
Individual responsibility. What a crock. Jones is only responsible for the contribution to global warming that his little bonfire created. He is not responsible for the actions of Radical Muslims. The Radical Muslims are responsible for that.
Let’s try this analogy.
YOUR posts have “made me” see red until I’m furious at you.
Tonight I go out and run over some little kids at the park because of that.
Tomorrow YOU should be arrested for what YOU caused me to do.
Now, tell me, does this type of scenario REALLY make sense to you?? Without all the emotionalism, and name calling, does this type of scenario really sound logical??
I just don’t get that you don’t get it. < shaking my head sadly >
