I've made that point repeatedly and whether or not it is understood is no longer up to me. It's up to those who distort the actual words I've said to try to get the point I have been making.

That is an excellant point you'v e made, and if you apply that same concept to the koran burning you'll see where those of us who are defending the buring are coming from.

I will never defend the burning of any book regardless of how distorted, offensive or wrong the words in that book may be.

I hope you agree that it is my right to hold that view while still understanding the evil of what some defenders of that book are doing around the world. And I hope you can at least begin to see that my asking people to behave in a responsible manner is not in any way appeasing evil.

It is just my standing up for principle, just as you are doing.
