Isn’t there an Islamic celebration/parade where they cut their own heads with swords? I recall seeing pictures of this on FR.

You are right, there is Islamic celebration that has the males cut their heads open. Very weird. I would imagine if a person ever participated in it, it would leave a pernament distinguishable scar.
