The artist who made the rejected bust, Catherine Lamacque, said she gave it outsized breasts deliberately, "to symbolise the generosity of the Republic."...I don't know what to say!

I say, ship them to me.
I’d appreciate some symbols of generosity in my back yard.

These godless people have to glorify and emphasize the sexual elements of the body instead of the intellectual qualities because it is the only important thing to them.....earthly pursuits. There is nothing beyond this “utopia” on mother earth so they think that sex is the only important thing in life—although reduced to a commodity that is meaningless and devoid of reproduction and a suckling infant. LOL. They are pathetic.
As Ayn Rand said....”there is such a dedication to the destruction of values” particularly in the arts and in the institutions of government. Got to make people slaves to their passions, so they can be corralled and mastered.
This reducing and demeaning the soul of man to the sum of their sexual anatomy to titillate the animal instincts continues. Lenin is smiling.

Oh for crying out loud. Isn’t it the French that eat cheese made from breast milk?
Those are ample and well placed breasts, but they are not large.

There was a similar situation in a nearby city (Rock Hill, SC) several years ago. Four Civitas statues were placed on the corners of an intersection. Local religious zealots objected to the bare breasts' protruding nipples. The statues were not removed but the nipples were filed down (the pain, Boss, the pain). No mention of the bare midriff and naked navels.

I understand the French don’t like ‘em big...so I can see this.

It’s just more feminist self-hatred. Empowering women by turning them into men!
