KABUL, 2 April 2011 , Gen David H. Petraeus, Commander of International Security Assistance Force, joins President Karzai, NATO Secretary General Anders Fogh Rasmussen, and the international community in strongly condemning yesterday’s attack on a United Nations Assistance Mission in Afghanistan compound in Mazar-e Sharif.

A Joint statement issued from ISAF they condemn the attack and said “This was a cowardly and criminal attack resulting in the murder of innocent United Nations workers,” said Gen Petraeus. “United Nations Assistance Mission in Afghanistan is solely focused on working in support of the Afghan people and nothing can justify yesterday’s vicious and tragic actions.”

“Last night I spoke with the UN Special Representative of the Secretary General in Afghanistan Staffan de Mistura and conveyed ISAF’s sincere condolences to the families of those killed and wounded and to our partners in UNAMA who are working so hard for the Afghan people,” said Gen Petraeus. “ISAF stands ready to provide any assistance necessary.”

Incredible really. A book was burned; and yes, a 'HOLY' Book, to many; but still; a book which reps a religion. Bibles have been burned; our flag. . .worse, Christians are burned and beheaded; entire Christian churches are torched in the ME - with parishioner families inside - and yet; there is no roar of disapproval; no serious calls that condemn. This on the heels of the murderous depravity visited upon the Fogel family, just recently; for which, there has been, barely a ripple of disquiet - and nothing but the celebratory from the Palestinians.

A book is not a life; nor is it an excuse for savage, depraved behavior. Well, except for many, who so believe in it.

Nope. . .none, whatsoever. They are mentioned in news as 'insurgents'. Altogether, pathetic. . .

This strong condemnation is sure to go a long way in straightening out the Muslims who did this. I am sure they are sitting up tonight worrying about it.

The Muslims who did this had just left a peaceful, loving prayer meeting where their Imam spoke of peace and brotherly love. It must have been something in the air that caused them to come directly from that meeting and go out and behead people.

Haven’t heard yet from Obama ,but when the political winds blow he will stand with the Muslims.

------
Those 'Blue helmets' are poor people trying to make a living and do what the suits in NY tell them to. They probably know nothing about politics. But after the 'Blue helmets,' these helmets will also be targeted

After all, Terry Jones is American.

Blue helmets are usually poor folks working for the scum that is the U.N.
Or as I would say, being exploited by the scum that is the U.N.
And HOw are you going to look at them when they are the ones that come to take away your guns and right to self defense?
