Well, in terms of the spirit of the law, he’s a hero.
This whole zerobama era is not a shameful period for the military; they must follow orders. It is an era of shame for the White House and the Presidency.
It’s so disgusting how the WH, Presidency and America have been mocked and degraded during the past 2 years. But true Americans will persevere. America is not a building.
The Military owes its allegiance to the laws and to the Constitution. Not to the men who hold the office of commander-in-chief.
Must follow orders? Really? As in herding Americans into cattle cars?
If our highest military officers **know** that Obama is not a natural born citizen it is their **duty** before God to see that he is removed. It does not matter whether or not they have the cooperation of Congress or the Supreme Court . They took an oath to defend the Constitution! Anything less than removing Obama from the White House would be TREASON and a serious abandonment of our honorable and brave troops serving under them.
If our highest military officers **suspect** that Obama is not a natural born citizen it is their DUTY before GOD to see that the question is clarified with certifiable proof that he is, indeed, eligibile to be Commander in Chief.

So?....Where is the evidence that our highest military officers sought certifiable clarification from Obama, the courts, and/or Congress? Hm?
While our highest military officers might be willing to fall on a grenade for their troops in a battle against a foreign enemy, where is the evidence that they are will to protect their troops from a possible usurper fraudulently occupying the position of Commander in Chief. I suppose their perks and pensions mean more to them than the brave and honorable troops taking orders from them.

No, someone who refused to deploy to Afghanistan to treat wounded soldiers as was his duty to do is no hero in my book. I put him into the same category of lowlifes where one finds Obama and his ilk. You won't find many soldiers who call him hero.
That's almost correct, but not quite.
Members of the military are not supposed to obey unlawful orders. The definition of an unlawful order is an order whose unlawfulness is upheld at your hearing.
IOW, it's a great risk to disobey an unlawful order. Nonetheless, members of the military are continually instructed in ethics classes that they are to do exactly that.
Interestingly, Lakin was convicted of missing movement (or something similar) and not of suggesting that Obama was not a legitimate president. This past 2 weeks Donald Trump has done a good job of highlighting the issue: Obama has not proven his status by releasing his original, long form birth certificate.
Trump's accusation is not being challenged by anyone.
If Trump is correct that something is fishy, and if Obama is not a natural born citizen, then Lakin will be vindicated to a large degree with the exception of the the Manual of Court Martial position that orders passed down through the chain of command are to be presumed as legal.
