This, in short, is the essence of a deal struck between the Barack Obama administration and the House of Saud. Two diplomatic sources at the United Nations independently confirmed that Washington, via Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, gave the go-ahead for Saudi Arabia to invade Bahrain and crush the pro-democracy movement in their neighbor in exchange for a "yes" vote by the Arab League for a no-fly zone over Libya - the main rationale that led to United Nations Security Council resolution 1973.
The revelation came from two different diplomats, a European and a member of the BRIC group, and was made separately to a US scholar and Asia Times Online. According to diplomatic protocol, their names cannot be disclosed. One of the diplomats said, "This is the reason why we could not support resolution 1973. We were arguing that Libya, Bahrain and Yemen were similar cases, and calling for a fact-finding mission. We maintain our official position that the resolution is not clear, and may be interpreted in a belligerent manner."
As Asia Times Online has reported, a full Arab League endorsement of a no-fly zone is a myth. Of the 22 full members, only 11 were present at the voting. Six of them were Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) members, the US-supported club of Gulf kingdoms/sheikhdoms, of which Saudi Arabia is the top dog. Syria and Algeria were against it. Saudi Arabia only had to "seduce" three other members to get the vote.
Translation: only nine out of 22 members of the Arab League voted for the no-fly zone. The vote was essentially a House of Saud-led operation, with Arab League secretary general Amr Moussa keen to polish his CV with Washington with an eye to become the next Egyptian President.

This is merely another example of global players enforcing their will. Backroom deals are made all the time... tit for tat, you give this, we give that.
Is this the sort of global community American taxpayers should be supporting? I think not.
If there is so much as a tither of truth in this article, then high crimes have been committed by people who serve us. More specifically, Hillary Clinton and Barrack Obama, and others, may have committed high crimes. The question is, who will challenge them? Obviously, the MSM won’t. McCain surely won’t. Hell, he is the head cheerleader root root rooting them on to “victory.”
Michele Bachmann might challenge, if she could, or would bother to look into this conspiracy. But, she is rendered powerless when compared to the high value global players in this scheme. With the stakes this high, and the rewards astronomical, to protect their investment, this global cabal would swat her like a fly that was buzzing a steak on their global grill.
In order to defeat this global cabal, which includes our own US govt, we are going to need all hands on deck.
cruise missles instead of the usual 9mm
“nothing but a Drive-by gangsta shooting”
That’s a good analogy. Which in reality, this is what it amounts too. But, in the long form, it’s a little more complicated than that. Since the rewards for these high stakes, especially for the high value players involved, are exponentially high. Whereas, in a simple drive by, I must assume, it is executed simply for the thrill.
Still, I get your point. But at the same time, I hope you get mine. We are facing a global cabal which seeks to destroy us, which may include operatives within our own US govt.
The Foreign Minister in Bahrain is a women of Judaism Faith. It is a well balnced Country even Catholics are allowed to worship openly
If GW Bush had done something like this, the dark conspiracy theories would be automatic fact.
Michael Moore was very upset about the relationship between Saudi Arabia and the Bushes. I wonder how he feels ahout this.
Please do!
Bowling Imams ...
This is why I support candid Wiki Leaks as long as they don’t release info that gets our service men killed. If it is about embarrassment of high ranking officials - good. I don’t care what country they come from either.
The high ranking officials hate being embarassed and that’s why they they want to shut it down. Most of the “news” we get is massaged mis-information anyway intended to serve as strings on a puppet, with us being the puppet.
Thanks DC. You know when I ping you it just means I’m ‘thinking of you’, lol.
Lol, maybe Islamo Bamma didn’t bow low enough!!
It's not all that often I happen upon someone who gets it. When I do, I have to offer a tip of the hat.
Damn, that Al Franken sure is ugly.
You’re so sweet. Thank you! ;o)
Keep on pinging...
