Madison - A 26-year-old woman was charged Thursday with two felony counts and two misdemeanor counts for allegedly making email threats against Wisconsin lawmakers during the height of the battle over Gov. Scott Walker's budget-repair bill.
Katherine R. Windels of Cross Plains was named in a criminal complaint filed in Dane County Criminal Court.
According to the criminal complaint, Windels allegedly sent an email threat to State Sen. Robert Cowles (R-Green Bay) March 9. Later that evening, she allegedly sent another email to 15 Republican legislators, including Senate Majority Scott Fitzgerald (R-Juneau).
The subject line of the second email was: "Atten.: Death Threat!!!! Bomb!!!" In that email, she purportedly wrote, "Please put your things in order because you will be killed and your familes will also be killed due to your actions in the last 8 weeks."

ahhh....more liberal civil rhetoric.
School teacher??? That is the problem here they do not think well.
I hope she goes broke defending civil suits, but she’ll probably get pro bono representation from fellow libs.
If any conservative pulled this crap, Holder would make sure they were charged with terrorism.
Is it just me, or does she remind anyone of Carrie?
I hear SEIU has contacted her in regards to an opening in their communications department.
You’d let the man starve?
Thanks for the link. It looks like she’s a glorified daycare worker.

Isn’t it wonderful the types of misfits that go into “teaching” today. All these libtards care about is brainwashing your kids and collecting a nice fat paycheck and retirement. Her parents must be so proud of their princess, and seeing that she comes from people’s republic of Vermont, they must have schooled her well in the fanatical religion of liberalism.
Looks to me like she is a nanny...child care worker for hire.

The banality of evil. Himmler looked like a 3rd rate bookkeeper until he put on his black uniform.
So far, Windels has not been arrested. She will likely be served with a subpoena on Friday, Dane County’s district attorney told CNN affiliate WKOW.
According to the complaint, investigators read Windels excerpts from the e-mails, and she replied, “I know I said that, but I don’t know why I said that.”
The criminal complaint said Windels admitted sending the emails because she was: “disgusted and very upset by what they were doing.”
Police Union Members Never Arrested Her. The District Attorney and Justice Department Forced The Issue.
Dane County District Attorney Ismael Ozanne filed the charges Thursday. He says “it’s odd” law enforcement never took Windels into custody.
“The reality is, the person was not placed into custody, so at some point, law enforcement didn’t see the person as an imminent threat,” Ozanne said. “It’s not that the case was not serious or taken seriously by law enforcement or by this office.”
This morning, the Justice Department sent a letter to the media, saying it was concerned about the “lack of action” on the case by the D.A.’s office. The Justice Department had referred the case to Ozanne two weeks prior.
LOL
I wonder what the trophy looks like
>> That is truly the most slanderous, mean-spirited comment I have ever read.......Wisconsin cows arent that fat.:)
Sorry. I am udderly ashamed of my actions. I’d like to atone. Please bring over the cows I offended and I’ll apologize to each one personally and kiss her on the nose.
:-)
Talkers don’t kill and killers don’t talk.
I knew those threats would end up being something like this.
If there is a federal hook, I’m sure Holder will be all over it. (Heavy Sarc)
I'm looking at fifty soon. I hear ya! You sound like my husband with his aches and pains from running. He's been running for 30 years and still going strong.
There, fixed it.
