Republicans on the House Administration Committee want to shore up voter registration rules in the wake of a Colorado study that found as many as 5,000 non-citizens in the state took part in last years election.
Rep. Gregg Harper (R-Miss.), the panels chairman, called the study a disturbing wake-up call that should cause every state to review its safeguards to prevent illegal voting. We simply cannot have an electoral system that allows thousands of non-citizens to violate the law and vote in our elections. We must do more to protect the integrity of our electoral processes, Harper added.
Colorado Secretary of State Scott Gessler, a Republican, told the panel that his departments study identified nearly 12,000 people who were not citizens but were still registered to vote in Colorado. Of those non-citizen registered voters, nearly 5,000 took part in the 2010 general election in which Democratic Sen. Michael Bennet narrowly defeated Republican John Buck.
Colorado conducted the study by comparing the states voter registration database with drivers license records. We know we have a problem here. We dont know the size of it, Gessler said in testimony to Administrations Elections subcommittee.
He told Harper that Colorado would look to create a registration system that would allow his department to ask that some people provide proof of their citizenship in writing. If individuals did not respond to the request, their registration as voters would be suspended.
Rep. Charles Gonzalez (D-Texas) raised doubts about the reporting, noting that the study itself said it was based on inconclusive data and that it was impossible to provide precise numbers on how many people who were registered to vote in the state were not citizens. Gonzalez asked Gessler, a former prosecutor, if he would have pursued a court case on such evidence.
Gessler responded that the goal of the study was to expose voter registration issues and pursue administrative avenues to resolve them. We dont have a screen for citizenship on the front end when people register to vote, he said.
Illegal Jose Madrigal, the Washington state rapist, had some 30 identities.
EACH FAKE IDENTITY COLLECTS US GOVT FREEEBIES,
--- AND AS EVERY DESPERATE DEMOCRAT KNOWS ---
EACH ILLEGAL IDENTITY VOTES AND VOTES AND VOTES
==========================
So How does an impoverished illegal, in the US for a "better" life, get multiple identities: driver's licenses, passports, birth certificates and SS numbers?
NORTH BERGEN, NJ -- July 21, 2006 -- Pelcastre brothers, Angel and Jorge, Dallas, Texas, were a walking threat to US national security, expert document forgers who, for a few thousand dollars, could give anyone a new identity, authorities said. The Texas brothers turned a NJ hotel room into a business office and were readying a massive cache of fake Social Security cards for delivery to a local NJ identity broker.
The Texas brothers were a "one-stop shop" for a myriad of fake US documents, including birth certificates, Social Security cards, driver's licenses for any state in the US, passports and resident alien cards, said state police. Officers happened upon two cars bearing Texas plates in a NJ hotel parking lot. Authorities wouldn't identify the NJ hotel by name for fear it would spark retribution by savage drug cartels. The Drug Interdiction Task Force, regularly runs checks.
The Texas brothers were followed to a NJ office supply store nearby where they purchased computer supplies. Officers then followed the Texans to a NJ storage facility in Secaucus, NJ, where the Texans loaded several boxes into a car. One of them stood lookout. Authorities approached the Texas brothers when they returned to the NJ hotel and questioned them separately. The Texas brothers consented to a search. Police recovered laminating sheets with built-in security features, pages of blank documents waiting for fake names and information, finished documents, computers and software to create the fake IDs.
All told, the haul was worth about $500,000 on the street. Police also recovered $6,000 in cash, which was the first payment from a NJ fake document broker for a shipment of 500 Social Security cards.
Yikes

Yo Chuck, it's called Stat101. Interesting course, you may want to take some day. Idiot.
Your King and I have deemed
that there is only one punishment for anyone
who dares to expose or report any of our election fraud.
Well, we SHOULD. In addition, voting by mail should be outlawed except for carefully monitored exceptions such as military members serving outside their home states, and all voters should be required to display a government-issued, biometric ID when they show up to vote.
5,000 illegals, most of whom would vote Democrat, apparently made the difference in a number of close votes in Colorado last November. Makes me furious.
Early voting is most likely rife with corruption as well.

Gonzalez is helpful---he reaffirms what we already know---these people are building a Third World Nation inside the US.
They are using the US as a revenue stream----much if which that is sent back to their homelands.
In neighboring Kansas, the Republican Attorney General is bushing tough laws against voter fraud. Naturally, the RATS and RAT media are ridiculing him, since ALL fraudulent voters vote RAT.
Savage drug cartels in NJ?
Haven't our congresscritters been telling us that violence in Mexico hasn't spilled over the border?
Were they referring to Mexican thugs spilling over the Canadian border into Canada?
One very simple question. If this is actually true where are the thousands of prosecutions of voter fraud? 5000 illegal votes in one single state election and not a single prosecution? Something here makes no sense at all.
Oh, yeah---I forgot. LOL.
GOOD SOLUTION Colorado would create a registration system that would ask proof of citizenship in writing. If individuals did not respond to the request, their registration as voters would be suspended.
Pikers. Come check out Cook County if you want to see the state of the art.
There is a group in TX that is watching for this. I suggest each state do something similar.
And if they were found producing false documents, immediate deportation would be in order.
So, 5,000 votes should be deducted from Bennet’s total.
You might know a illegal Mexican immigrant loving politician from Texas would object. Probably because he knows most of his votes are illegal.
