EXCERPT
Brzezinskis view on Trumps fascination with the birth certificate:
I dont like this, because I think this promotes hate and this brings us back and I thought we had gotten past this. I really do, and I dont care how serious he feels about it, there are more important things we need to be talking about. He had a chance. Everybody wanted to hear what he had to say, because of exactly where we are in this country. And people were beginning to look at him and Im sorry this is a bad call.

mindless agenda This is all I take exception to in your post.
Their agenda isn't mindless... it's evil, but not unintentionally so.

I am no Constitutional scholar either and I also greatly appreciate the work of so many fellow FReepers that have spent so much time and energy researching and educating us all. What I liked about your post was how it presented the case from the point of view of the Founders and their original intent in a very clear and understandable way. Without lying or dissembling it is very difficult to argue against your simply stated, commonsense narrative.

Birthers have yet to provide any convincing evidence to back up their claims, heck, a lot of the time no one can even tell what theyre claiming. Some of the stuff they do come up with turns out to be inaccurate ( the 1980s Pakistan travel ban), hoaxes (republic of Kenya birth certificate), or an inaccurate summary of one of the players statements. Actually Obama has never provided any convincing evidence to back up his claim, heck, the DOH in Hawaii REFUSES to say his jpg represents a genuine or accurate birth record. A lot of times no one, especially the LMSM can get Obama's life story correct or get the details to be consistent. MOST of what faithers believe is innaccurate and based on very ignorant myths, such as claims that:
- Hawaii released a copy of Obama's birth certificate
- Obama showed his birth certificate to the proper authorities in order to run for president.
- Obama's COLB must be real because Hillary Clinton would have found something on Obama if it wasn't real.
- The state of Hawaii has said Obama's birth certificates are real.
- The CIA/FBI or other agencies did a background check on Obama and would have kept him from running for president if he wasn't born in the U.S.
- The newspaper announcements show that Obama was born in Hawaii.
- Nothing Obama can show would do any good, so he shouldn't have to provide an actual, legal birth record.
- No other president/candidate has ever been questioned, and Obama is only questioned because of his race.
- Obama would be a citizen no matter where he was born because his mom was a citizen.
- Obama circulated a Certificate of Live Birth and gave it to the press to look at in 2008.

mindless agendaYour point well taken here. I had meant the useful idiots and small fry as being mindless. Yes, intentional evil are the operative words for the cunning ones and indeed also influential in many areas. The press, academia, politics.

1. Read the post here today from someone that was in Hawaii two months researching this. There are THOUSANDS of births announced in the papers that aren’t on the Hawaiian birth registry.
My child born this year was listed in a small town newspaper with me providing the information. Does that PROVE anything legally? No.
2. Hawaii has a statute which allows for children of state residents born “without the state or territory” — meaning outside — to obtain Hawaiian birth certificates.
We need to see the long form birth certificate which Obama refuses to produce. Google 1961 Hawaiian birth certificate and you’ll see what one looks like.
