As always, it’s a good idea to pray for the victims and abuser.

Yes, that's what we always do whether the victims or abusers are Presbyterian, non-denominational, catholic, boy-scouts, masters, teachers, whatever.

In his book Pedophiles and Priests, Prof. Philip Jenkins—a Protestant and an expert in the subject of pedophilia—stated, "The most-quoted survey of sexual problems among Protestant clergy states that some ten percent are involved in sexual misconduct of some kind, and that 'about two or three percent' are pedophiles, a rate equal or higher than that suggested for Catholic priests. These figures should be viewed skeptically; the methodology on which they are based is not clear, and they seem to rely disproportionately on individuals already in therapy. However, it is striking to find such a relatively high number suggested for both celibate and non-celibate clergy" (pp. 50-51)

The numbers would be higher among small cults like the OPC (what's the percentage Dr. eck, really? 5%, 15%?) that hide this from the news by hushing the victims.

Us Christians (Baptists, Pentecostals, Catholic-Orthodox, Anglicans, Lutherans, Methodists etc) in contrary to the OPC/PCA etc (take note Gamecock, Alex etc) pray for the victims and the accused -- only non-Christian cults such as your groups, leftist organizations take glee in these horrible acts.

lolol. You mean THIS Prof. Philip Jenkins? From wikipedia here (with references at the site)...

In 2002 Jenkins, who is an Episcopalian, discussed the Catholic sex abuse cases, asserting that "[his] research of cases over the past 20 years indicates no evidence whatever that Catholic or other celibate clergy are any more likely to be involved in misconduct or abuse than clergy of any other denomination—or indeed, than non-clergy. However determined news media may be to see this affair as a crisis of celibacy, the charge is just unsupported."[7]

In a 2010 interview with National Public Radio Jenkins stated that he believes "the Islamic scriptures in the Qur'an were actually far less bloody and less violent than those in the Bible", citing explicit instructions in the Old Testament calling for genocide while the Qur'an calls for primarily defensive war. Jenkins went on to state that Islam, Judaism and Christianity had undergone a process he refers to as "holy amnesia" in which violence in sacred texts become symbolic action against one's sins. Islam had until recently also undergone the same process, in which jihad became an internal struggle rather than war.[8]

lol. Yeah. That's one smart "authority," Cronos. His "findings" are ludicrous.

Much like your posts.
