Morbidly Obese Man Dies After Two Years in the Same Chair
Ohio Man Reported Stuck to Chair With His Own Waste; Later Died at Hospital
A morbidly obese man has died after being stuck in a chair at home that he had been unable to leave for two years, ABC affiliate WRTF reported and ABC News has confirmed.

The Bellaire, Ohio man, who has not been publicly identified, was a patient at Wheeling Hospital in West Virginia, ABC Affiliate WTRF reported.
On Sunday, the 43-year-old man's two roommates discovered him unconscious. They called authorities.
When firefighters arrived, they discovered that the man's skin was stuck to the chair with urine and feces. Maggots were visible, according to local reports.
"The chair was very filthy, a lot of odor to it. Going in the house, the house was not clean. The living room where the man lived in his chair was very filthy, very deplorable. It's unbelievable that somebody lives in conditions like that" Jim Chase, a code enforcer for the city, told ABC affiliate WKEF said.

That’s cute how they slipped a video about Tilly the Orca right in the middle of the story about a morbidly obese man. Were they eluding to something there?

He had two roommates, someone must have been feeding him and nobody notices his condition?

Yeah, that's the best time to call the authorities - after your roommate who has been glued to his chair by his own waste for two years finally passes out. Calling before then might be premature.

A good rule of thumb is that if you get up from the chair and the chair goes up with you, its time for a diet.

Thats cute how they slipped a video about Tilly the Orca right in the middle of the story about a morbidly obese man. And an article about a 700 pound woman physically trapped in her bed ... and an article about about a "woman found being eaten alive". I did not check on the circumstances of the second.
And ABC News calls Fox a tabloid.
