Pelosi Statement on President Obama’s Speech on America’s Energy Security March 30, 2011
Washington, D.C. – Democratic Leader Nancy Pelosi released the following statement today on President Obama’s speech on America’s energy security:
“American energy independence is an essential part of winning the future; it’s about our national security and our economic competitiveness. We can fuel American prosperity by creating jobs in a clean, green way.
“Today, President Obama outlined a strategy to reduce our dependence on foreign oil imports by one-third by producing more oil domestically, promoting efficiency, and leading the way in developing new energy technologies and cleaner fuels. Among Democrats in Congress, he will find a willing partner to continue work to secure America’s energy future.
“Essential to a comprehensive energy strategy is helping Americans and small businesses who are feeling the burden of rising gasoline prices now. Democrats have attempted to bring legislation to the House floor that makes it illegal to sell gasoline at excessive prices and prevents Big Oil from taking advantage of consumers and engaging in price gouging; Republicans blocked this effort.
“We will continue to bring forward responsible solutions to protect American consumers while securing our energy future. We hope House Republicans will join us in this effort.”

San Fran Nan has been borderline nuts for a long time, losing her speakership has pushed her over the edge.
Any plan that does not include an increase in domestic drilling and refining will fail, period.

I thought she was on medical leave getting a brain replacement; obviously her the replacement was rejected as have all other attempts.
And this was the woman who was using military jets as her own personal airplane to fly all over the country.
How much you want to bet that Nancy’s government limo isn’t a Prius and she hasn’t ridden on public transportation in decades?
Scratch a liberal on energy and you will find a fossil fuel guzzling hypocrite.
We have plenty of energy in this country that can be tapped, but you will find Nancy Pelosi leading the way to prevent exploiting it.

San Fran Nan reminds me of the crazy neighbor lady where I grew up, always screaming at us to “Get out of the Ditch!” The drainage ditch between our lots was where we at first blew up army men with firecrackers, then shot the rats that lived in all the brush she dumped there, and finally set off our home-made bombs.

We have YOUR President ON TAPE saying he wished gasoline could rise to five dollars a gallon, and HIS ENERGY SECRETARY saying he wished it could reach European levels of ten dollars a gallon or so. Now they're just makin' it happen.
Pelosi and the rest can lie all they want and fantasize about "clean green jobs" all they want but the iron laws of economics will remain the same. Artificially restrict supply and the price will rise.
This woman is suffering from botox poisoning. Her brain has been numbed, if she ever had one to begin with.

Maybe they just decided to remove the old one and leave the head empty.
