Hopefully, scholars don’t keep them secret for 50 years like they did the dead sea scrolls.
You can hope for that, but I doubt you or I will ever live to see them published.
As much as academics like to talk about openness and transparency, they are a cloistered, envious, suspicious group as a whole.
None of them want to publish/reveal anything that might contradict their own personal beliefs/theories/agendas.
