Scouting requires a licence?

No, that was just a joke. But if you run your program too far outside the official parameters, all your Scouts will go to other Packs. Which would give you Thursday nights free for dance lessons ... but we won't go there.

Is THAT why the Helpdesk can't do anything for me?

One of my customers' IT groups has not succeeded, yet, in releasing any new software without first bastaardizing it in some way the requires the user base to submit trouble tickets to the Helpdesk. The situation is as close to an anti-Midas touch as I've ever seen. But, maybe it's just that they've driven all their little IT Scouts off to other Packs.

I know this much: if you operate your programs too far outside the official parameters, all your USERS will go to other Packs. ME? I'd like another pack. A BACKpack; perhaps somewhere in Patagonia, or New Zealand.
