Yes, tax the Super Rich. Tax them now. Before the other 99% rise up, trigger a new American Revolution, a meltdown and the Great Depression 2.
We know the Super Rich dont care. Not about you. Nor the American public. They cant see. Cant hear. Stay trapped in their Forbes-400 bubble. An echo chamber that isolates them. They see the public as faceless workers, customers, taxpayers. See GOP power on the ascent. Reaganomics is back. Unions on the run. Clueless masses are easily manipulated.
Even Obama is secretly working with the GOP, will never touch his Super Rich donors. Yes, the Super-Rich Delusion is that powerful, infecting all America.
Heres how one savvy insider who knows described this Super-Rich Delusion: The top 1% live privileged lives, arent worried about much. Families vacation at the best resorts. Their big concerns are finding the best Pilates teacher, best masseuse, best surgeons, best private schools. They arent concerned with the underlying deterioration of America or the world, except in the abstract, because they arent directly affected by it. Thats not to say they arent sympathetic, aware, or dont talk about the issues you bring up. They are largely concerned with protecting and enhancing their socio-economic positions, ensuring their families live well. And nothing you write about will change things.

If you are serious - it's hard to tell - I don't have much respect for your cognitive skills. Yep, you worked for a company that got a bail out, so what you thought you were saving all these years really belongs to the mob because BobL knows what you need to get by.
The bailout was a stupid, rotten, unconstitutional, big government boondoggle. Don’t make a bad thing worse.
Government is not the solution; it is the problem. RR

moron
So once you get even with the super rich, who do you go after next? The Jews?
I am not a socialist you blithering idiot. It’s a shame your reading comprehension seems stuck at the level of the 2nd grade.

This is a conservative forum. It seems that some have forgotten that simple fact.
If you will steal from the “Super Rich”, then you will steal from me. They will sue you, I won’t sue you.........I’ll shoot.
Risky don't begin to describe...After Alred show, Whitman couldn't buy the governors chair for 150 million...

I hear you, just my frustration coming through. I’ll calm down (sorry).
Nah! You’re no capitalist. Go over to DU where they revere this freak.
He’s a ranting Liberal!

Boy are you stupid. If there was no income tax and only a national sales tax, everyone would pay the same percentage. You think rich should pay 90%, as it was back in the days during WWII and after wards for many years? Why should anyone pay a bigger percentage than anyone else? The reason the rich try to use all the tax loop holes, and get the legislature to pass such laws, is because they are getting ripped.
The fair tax or some other national sales tax is the only fair way to tax people. Taxing income is unconstitutional, I don't care if they pass an amendment "making it legal" or not. The founders knew the dangers of an income tax and so made it unconstitutional. The stupidity of the American public allowed that protection to be taken away.
I’m off my pedestal...maybe we compromise with NO MORE BAILOUTS and let the market do its magic.

I’m with you on this, CR.
They have theirs, and want to prevent anyone else from earning or getting their own wealth. Mostly though, what they want is power, especially the power to tell everyone else how to live OR tell others whether they will be allowed to live.
Much of the extraordinary tax avoidance moves of extraordinarily rich people is prompted by extraordinary tax rates.
I just can’t be very angry about astronomically rich people, unless they use their wealth to willfully promote stunningly harmful agendas (like Soros). They create more jobs than poor people do. If they were not taxed at all, they’d create even more jobs than that.
Yeah that was weird.
You are an utter fool. Read my posting history and you’ll see I am no liberal you jackass! Funny to see how quick you are to jump at someone before you ever understand their position.

Not sure who is the biggest nutbag over on Marketwatch, this freak, or Rex Nutting (who in Jan said to abolish the Senate).
You are the stupid one in this exchange. Of course I don’t think the rich should pay 90%, I said that in a joking aside. You also lack basic reading comprehension skills. Replies likes yours makes me realize how easy it was for the Red Scare of the 50s to take hold.
