Yes, tax the Super Rich. Tax them now. Before the other 99% rise up, trigger a new American Revolution, a meltdown and the Great Depression 2.
We know the Super Rich dont care. Not about you. Nor the American public. They cant see. Cant hear. Stay trapped in their Forbes-400 bubble. An echo chamber that isolates them. They see the public as faceless workers, customers, taxpayers. See GOP power on the ascent. Reaganomics is back. Unions on the run. Clueless masses are easily manipulated.
Even Obama is secretly working with the GOP, will never touch his Super Rich donors. Yes, the Super-Rich Delusion is that powerful, infecting all America.
Heres how one savvy insider who knows described this Super-Rich Delusion: The top 1% live privileged lives, arent worried about much. Families vacation at the best resorts. Their big concerns are finding the best Pilates teacher, best masseuse, best surgeons, best private schools. They arent concerned with the underlying deterioration of America or the world, except in the abstract, because they arent directly affected by it. Thats not to say they arent sympathetic, aware, or dont talk about the issues you bring up. They are largely concerned with protecting and enhancing their socio-economic positions, ensuring their families live well. And nothing you write about will change things.

Good luck. I have a Hispanic Ministry committee meeting later this morning. I hope everyone will not argue; that’s so depressing!
Good luck to you. LoM has a Kairos meeting, but I think she’s not well enough for it.
I hope she feels better soon. The meeting went surprisingly well. We got some liturgical details for Palm Sunday and Easter sorted out, a fundraiser planned, and continuing discussion about drilling the ushers so the collection/offertory doesn’t take forever.
Got most of my "tasks" for this weekend done. Still have to book my trip to SF in a month, but the better times/fares have been disappearing. I'm not really wanting a 6:15 AM flight out, arriving 8:15, for meetings starting the following morning at 8, but that's the way it's shaping up.
There was a little boy who had a little curl right in the middle of his forehead.
And when he was good, he was very, very good.
But when he was bad, he was MARVELOUS!!
I’m here. I still have to get some programs installed, but, I can do that while talking.
It’s humid today. Must be about 11% out there, so it feels hotter than it is.
At least I’m done chasing around.
Howya! Back from the Matthews Library with James and Vlad. Frank is having his nap. The next thing will be taking Bill and Tom to church for an overnight with the youth group. They’ll miss the steak dinner for Elen’s birthday, but we’ll probably have leftovers.
Is it warm there?
It’s 52f here right now.

I just spent the last few hours downloading programs that were lost. I think the guy must have just given up, because the only things I have are antivirus and spyware programs. *sigh*
I had to download Silverlight so I can watch Netflix. It will be a few more days before I have it all configured the way I want it.
On the bright side: I had to go to JoAnn’s to get some thread, and as I headed for the checkout, I saw some Easter socks. I thought instantly of my little Munchkin Grandniece, until I realized they were for bigger girls. And my eye caught a pair that was white with pink polka-dots and a little smiling monkey with an Easter Basket!
Needless to say, I will wear them Easter Sunday!
Mid-60s here and a whooping north wind. The neighbors are digging post holes, manually. It looks like they’re building a pergola. Shannon spent most of the day sleeping in the sun on top of the snake cage, and Susan did lots of slytherin. She needed Sunbeam Time, too.
I got your card today - that was so pretty!
I found that at the post orifice, believe it or not! I thought it was beautiful, and didn’t want to ruin it with writing underneath. Lasers are awesome tools!!
I’ve had to turn on a fan during the day, and last night, I slept with the door open. (Security door was locked!) Even so, it was 72 when I woke up this morning (4:30) I really don’t want to turn on the A/C because of my neighbor, but it won’t be long before I have no choice.
I needed Sunbean Time today, as well. It was overcast when I went out, and it still overcast, but the wind is blowing. Next week will be “cooler” but that will only put off the A/C for another week...Moving soon would be good.
Mmmmmmmmmm.

Got any 3’s?
Wish you were here!!!
warm here. I made a sandwich.
No threes.
I wish you were here too!
No wait. It’s only 52f here.
With 45% humidity. You’d hate it. :-O
Is your computer working now?
Toasted it on the deck, didja? I just took Bill and Tom to church and made them go to Confession. Then I told Bill his soul was as perfect as his hair, and I thought Sister Veronica would bust a gut laughing. Bill turned aubergine.
You’ve never read the Iliad all the way through? We’ve started reading it again because we have the CD lectures on it. The first book is like being at the Hispanic Ministry committee meeting waiting for Dona Edra and Deacon Rafael to break into open fisticuffs.
Yes, My Sweet Sis, my computer is working and I’m reinstalling programs that were lost, but I’m also thinking how blessed I am to have such AWESOME FRiends!
You have been missed. (By me!)
Happy Birthday to Elen!
