I found another picture of Obama wearing a ring. It’s when he was in Kenya. Scroll down to the 9th picture, it’s titled underneith as “Young President Obama with his Kenyan Grandmother”. Apparently he visited Kenya in 1981. But, he was married in 1992.

He visited Kenya again in 1988 and stayed for 5 weeks, but still had not even met Michelle until 1989.

ELA is complicated, but it is a method of detecting manipulation of images. At the link, the url for the .jpg is entered, and the ELA image results. A good explanation here.
There seems to be a lot of variation in this image, note the white lines around Obama's hands, for example. Another photo with his Grandparents has has much less variation .

Late to the game here, but, I caught that as well. In the “photoshop” version sunlight passes behind the bench through the gap and casts light on the bricks between the back of the bench and the wall.
