Former Gov. Tim Pawlenty on Monday unveiled a 16-person national fundraising team studded with veterans of other presidential campaigns, including those of potential rival Mitt Romney.

The new team will be led by Brian Haley, who ran Pawlenty's Freedom First PAC fundraising efforts and who served as deputy finance director for the John McCain-Sarah Palin campaign in 2008.

Katie McBreen, who worked for Romney's 2008 presidential campaign, will be Pawlenty's deputy finance director. Trisha Hamm is Pawlenty's Minnesota finance director. She was his gubernatorial campaign's finance coordinator and political director and also worked on his Freedom First PAC.

Hmm - picking veterans of three failed campaigns to raise money for his campaign. Fail. That’s a little like asking a passed-over light colonel how to make colonel, isn’t it?

Wow he is coming out weak. I really thought he had a chance but I saw him on Kudlow and he just can’t say it. Too much ‘going along to get along’ in a liberal state I guess even though he accomplished a lot up there in MN.

Fundraising will be one of Pawlenty's steepest challenges...
No. His total lack of substance is his biggest challenge. The fundraising problems just stem from that.

a coward on eligibility and thus an enabler of an usurper.

You can wipe Pawlenty off the ballot.....he is a useful idiot and will go nowhere.

He’s the Republican version of voting “present”.

Saw him on MSNBC this morning. Asked about Trump and the birth certificate issue he said:

” I think I saw where someone from CNN said they had seen it...so its not an issue to me”

Yes, he is a dull, unimpressive RINO.

Sorry.

Not excited, but Pawlenty > Romney/Huckabee/Trump

Hopefully a better candidate will emerge at some point, but Pawlenty is the best out of those who appear to be running at this point.

There’s a waste of perfectly good money that could be used for a real candidate like Bachmann, Cain, Palin, or even The Donald at this point.

Don’t waste your time TPaw. Sometimes No really means No.

Pawlenty’s campaign is over before it began.

There is no reason to care since his is using hired help and friends who “owe him”.

I predict he will be the next one giving a concession speech to an empty room.
