In transferring command and control to NATO, the U.S. is turning the reins over to an organization dominated by the U.S., both militarily and politically. In essence, the U.S. runs the show that is taking over running the show.
And the rapid advance of rebels in recent days strongly suggests they are not merely benefiting from military aid in a defensive crouch, but rather using the multinational force in some fashion -- coordinated or not -- to advance an offensive.
Here is a look at some of Obama's assertions in his address to the nation Monday, and how they compare with the facts:

The operations in Afghanistan and Iraq are costing a fortune, but at least we can claim that our national security is at stake; now we’re expending further huge sums in a conflict that doesn’t concern us one way or the other. Sounds awful but Obama should read the papers once in a while. There are goatherds killing each other every day from the Ivory Coast to Pakistan. The region has been “destabilized” since before Obama was born.
I only watched a small part of it and listened to a little more on the Mark Levin show, but I think Obama came across as mad, aggressive, and defensive.
He seemed P.O.’d that he was criticized and that his timing and motives were under question. He seemed put out that he had to give a speech and actually attempt to justify his actions.
After all - he won.
It is now the duty of the rabble to worship him.
How dare we, any of us, question him?
Then we will probaly see him sending Tomahawks, fighter planes and troops to Detroit, Chicago, Dearbornistan.....
