A Fort Myers high school senior with Ivy League aspirations and a new set of wheels faces a cloudy future after her arrest on felony charges Friday.

The events leading to her arrest began Thursday evening when Hachero called her mother and asked her to co-sign for a car... Her mother refused, and the teen threatened to kill her. ..
Hachero pistol-whipped her mother in the head and pointed the gun at the womans head and stomach, deputies wrote. The teenager then demanded the mother accompany her to the dealership.

This is the part that astounds me :”Hacheros mother declined to prosecute her daughter, however, citing Hacheros status as an honor student and her acceptance into several Ivy League Schools. “
Uhm, she beat you with a gun (which was one of several stolen from someone else), has drugs, and other paraphernalia in her purse, but she’s an honor roll student? How does she have time for her grades?
Are they citizens??
She looks like Spock.
“How does she have time for her grades?”
Top schools look for students who can balance rigorous study with plenty of extracurricular activities!/sarcasm;)
Where IS the “male elephant” in that household??? (Probably a male “donkey”, if you get my meaning;)
Maybe not. What I took from the story ...on NBC, granted...was that the kid had the money but was denied the sale because she wasn't 18. Went to get mom, mom said no....
Ok, maybe not but any person who lets themselves get hit by their child has created a monster. I don’t enable, nor will I be bullied. That mother let her darling child bully her. I think the brat has issues & am glad the police took care of it. Would you want your child in college with her gun carrying brat? I am pro guns but not when people misuse them. I wouldn’t want her near my child.
