Patrick Kennedy, the 43-year-old former Rhode Island congressman and son of the late Sen. Edward Kennedy, is engaged to be married to a New Jersey middle school teacher.
Kennedy, a lifelong bachelor, got engaged Saturday in Rhode Island to Amy Petitgout, former aide Sean Richardson said Monday. No wedding date has been set.

The future Mrs. Patches ain't bad looking. Good for him.
Not so good for the 3-year-old stepdaughter, though. If I were the kid's actual father, I'd be filing for sole custody about now (and praying that I didn't get a registered Democrat as the judge in the case).

Dr. Edward Peters, canonical lawyer and advisor to the Vatican's highest court, stated recently that Gov. Andrew Cuomo is not eligible for Holy Communion because he's living in concubinage with a hottie blond....and quite openly, to boot.
Well, here we also have Patches Kennedy openly shacking up with the demure lady pictured in the article. I wonder if he'll engender the same verbal volley as Andy. After all, what's sauce for the spaghetti should be sauce for the corned beef.

I hope he finds true and total Happiness..and so she has a three year old child...no big deal, he may very well be a good step father to the child..
he is not one of my favorite people but he is entitled to private life respect...as for his political views they are a problem...and we can criticize them but in this case lets give him the benefit of a doubt..
I wish them happiness.
