I haven’t used a pencil since elementary school in the 1980s. Are pencils still made? :-)

Yep like I said on the other thread, someone needs to take this guy out in the back alley and pulverize his face, particularly around the oral orifice.

Boycott Maher, HBO and Time Warner all you want, but there is a huge difference.
Imus said what he did on a show carried by FCC-licensed over-the-air broadcast channels. Yes, it was simulcast by MSNBC but the real fear came from the possible fines levied by the FCC.
Maher’s remarks were made not only on a cable channel but one you have to specifically subscribe to and one who’s forte is presenting material too explicit to be shown on over-the-air television or spoken on over-the-air radio.
In other words, Maher was giving his audience exactly what they pay money for - disgusting as that may be for the rest of us.
Letterman made a crude joke about Palin’s kids and had to walk it back because his show is carried on FCC-licensed stations. Maher goes to HBO precisely because they are unregulated.
Be outraged all you want but all you are telling the suits at HBO or Time Warner with your protest letters is that Maher did what they are paying him to do - say controversial things that will attract more viewers.
And since HBO has no advertisers, you won’t get much sympathy boycotting that way either.
And, for the record, Time Warner Cable is now a separate company from Time Warner so complaining to them won’t go far either.
I’m not condoning or endorsing what he has said or will say. I think he’s a disgusting little twerp and if Al Qaeda gunned him down in the middle of one of his shows, I’d say they were doing America a favor. But your efforts to get him censored or fired aren’t going to work. They’ll simply going to ask why you were watching to begin with.

Which would we go after first? All of them.
If their CEO had called anyone those names, anyone, he would have been fired on the spot. Those kinds of insults are literally forbidden in every corporate setting.
Bill Maher is the face of HBO and Time-Warner. He represents them every time he goes out and speaks. You can't cut him slack simply on the basis that he's an entertainer.
He's on the Time Warner payroll and should be treated as if he were a spokesman for the company.
