I saw it and as much as I thought him a hero last week, I am distrusting him now. He repeatedly stressed that “You have to be born in this country to be the president”. He doesn’t really mention “natural born citizenship”. He says he has serious doubts that he was born in this country. It is all about where he was born, with no mention of the fact that his father was NEVER a US citizen. I am starting to fear that he is setting the stage for Obama to produce something that will say he was born in Hawaii and we should all be quiet. When we are not quiet they will say that nothing that Obama could do will convince us because we are racist. If Trump wants to go back to hero status, he has some studying to do. He needs to ask for all the missing documents and inquire about the abundance of social security #’s, including one previously used by someone who died about the time Obama was getting his SS#. If he continues to push the “born in this country” meme, my suspicions will grow.
The left is going to FREAK THE H’ OUT when they figure out that the race card no longer works to silence criticism and dissent.
You have a very valid and chilling point, Trump reads FR no doubt, we need to inform him that the “Natural Born Citizen” is THE key to the issue.
If Trump hasn’t mention “natural born citizenship” or college transcripts, call me skeptical.
Actually I heard him say he “probably” was born here but there’s “something” in there he doesn’t want us to see.
Which is far more plausible.
I can’t imagine why Trump would set the stage to benefit Obama. Although Trump leans and has stated that he’s GOP, he has supported Dems, esp. the Clintons. I could see him taking Obama down to benefit Hillary before I’d see him trying to help Obama.
NBC (”Natural Born Citizen”, for those who can't figure out what “BC” is), is the real issue, but it is not the issue that average voters will understand.
The BC (Birth Certificate, for those who can't figure out what “BC” is), issue on the other hand is easily understandable to everyone. All would agree that to be president, you need to be “born in the USA”. I agree with all you article 2, section 1 people, but its not the way to get the people informed. It should be mentioned, but the main focus should be on the BC. Give Trump a chance, he still may bring up NBC.
For those who say Obama will just produce a forgery, can you say PRISON? With the scrutiny that any BC produced by Obama will go through, there is NO WAY he can take a chance that a forged document wouldn't be exposed.
His best excuse is that, “hey, I didn't know”. I was a baby at the time. I just know what I was told. This is just as big a shock to me as it is to you all.” “And by the way, I am NOT stepping down, I was elected, confirmed, and sworn in as president.”
If he continues to push the “born in this country” meme, my suspicions will grow.

Well, I think that a lot of freepers used to believe that obama was born out of country and that his dad was a kenyan.
But I think enough circumstantial evidence has arisen to convince many freepers that Obama’s real dad is actually the chicago communist frank marshall davis.
In which case obama would be an american citizen. But then he would be shown to have a totally invented identity.
You know, I’ve had my suspicions as well. This smells of a set-up to me. He’s making it such an issue that I fear that he’s letting others feel it’s OK to talk about it now, and have everyone whipped up in a frenzy, and then lo and behold, Obama will produce the document and make us all look like idiots. I think he has the full blessing of Obama and has no real plans to run for president.
I agree with you completely. Does anyone else remember the supposed "purple rage" video of Clinton during the impeachment days of yore? There is a familiar whiff in the air...
