Trump has investments in Chicago. I’m from Chicago. I could not imagine the likes of Chico and Carol Mosely Braun as mayor. Rahm was the only plausible candidate and for a while there we were all worried that he would not be able to run.
Donald is a smart man and put his money on the right horse for the right reason.

I know the Donald. Done work for him and he is an extremely smart guy. What he lacks in hair charm he makes up for in intellect and ability. Not to say he does have some weaknesses including largely inflated ego and not always keeping his word to his subs. But he is a crisis manager and a fine one at that. The casinos were a bad idea and he totallly screwed over e investors. But at this point anyone who can produce a birth certificate and be pro business and pro growth is worth looking at. The republican house has no balls and believes in nothing. Boner is a phony and so is Eric Cantor. Unless the net cuts 50 percent off the budget ASAP we are toast.
I’m thinking, based upon what I’ve read in the past 18 months or so, that it’s been a Fox policy not to give this topic any credible air time. Something seems to have certainly changed.

I think you're right, and, if he did ever try it, Trump would squash him like a bug. It'll be interesting if he never has Trump on--especially since Trump is the new big controversy.
yes,,,people forget why the 14 year residency requirement is there....even if you were born in county of American parents, and 35 years old...you still couldn’t be a francophile, or islamis, etc. living elsewhere and come back without “restablishing” your permanent American ties.
These were “mechanical” tests the founders added to ensure that only a “true” American could be Chief Executive.
Everyone knew in the last election that Obummer didn’t consider himself a classic “true” American. He said he was a citizen of the world. And that he would change EVERYTHING. We the people elected him on that basis.
