Not sure why this 6.5 is more significant than the one two days ago that was 6.8.There were at least 4 last week 6.0 or larger. MANY 5.0’s.
There have been many 6. aftershocks since the historic 9.0.
This one was only 5km deep. I don’t know how shallow the other after shocks have been or if tsunami warnings have been issued for them either.
