“That’s heartbreaking.”

But that’s why his mother abandoned him. She knew he wasn’t right, nor healthy. Sad,,,, but true.

Fuzzy little angel. He was four when he died, but he’ll always be Knut der Kleine Eisbär, to me.

I have a German friend who’s quite upset about this.

As he grew into an adolescent, animal welfare grouped worried all the attention was causing him to behave abnormally.

He would sway to and fro, and imitate fans taking photos by lifting a paw to his face.

His enclosure at the zoo is now a shrine to his memory. He will be stuffed and put on display in a museum.

I wonder if that’s why his mother rejected him. Sad.

The parallels with Alexander the Great just keep piling up.

Now, if scientists can figure out what the mother knew and how she knew it we'll make a giant leap forward.

That was my first thought. His mother rejected him - for a reason. And why is that sad? It is the way of things.

Men are too prone to anthropomorphism, IMO.

Why do you think Obamas mother abandoned him ? Not right in the head or screwed up from a botched abortion.
